Respiratory regulation is critical for patients with respiratory dysfunction. Clinically used ventilators can lead to long-term dependence and injury. Extracorporeal assistance approaches such as iron-lung devices provide a noninvasive alternative, however, artificial actuator counterparts have not achieved marvelous biomimetic ventilation human muscles. Here, we propose bionic soft exoskeleton robot that achieve extracorporeal closed-loop by emulating natural breath.
Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is life-threatening, for which efficient nonsurgical treatment strategy has not been available so far. Several previous studies investigating the therapeutic effect of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in AAA indicated that MSCs could inhibit aneurysmal inflammatory responses and extracellular matrix destruction, suppress occurrence expansion. Vascular smooth muscle cell (VSMC) phenotypic plasticity reported to be predisposed initiation progression. However,...
The present study aimed to investigate the effects of levetiracetam tablets and lacosamide (LCM) on therapeutic efficacy neural function in patients with epilepsy. We assigned 252 refractory partial seizures admitted our hospital receive either [120 patients, control group (CG)] or combined LCM [132 joint (JG)]. bone mineral density between two groups at 6 months before after treatment were compared. total response rate was higher JG than CG (P<0.05). There no significant difference...
The karyotype is highly important for diagnosis and prognosis in myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). objective of the present study was to investigate cytogenetic characteristics patients with MDS China. karyotypes 665 Chinese were analyzed, it identified that 298 cases (298/665, 44.8%) had abnormal karyotypes. Among karyotypes, 75 trisomy 8 (+8) constituted most common subset (75/298, 25.2%). incidence significantly higher who ≥51 years old compared those <51 old, (54.8 vs. 34.7%, respectively;...
Abnormal autophagy is related to the pathogenesis and clinical symptoms of myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). However, effect autophagy-related genes (ARGs) on prognosis MDS remains unclear. Here, we examined expression profile 108 patients with from GSE58831 dataset, identified 22 that were significantly associated overall survival. Among them, seven ARGs screened APIs calculated for all samples based ARGs, then, categorized into high- low-risk groups median APIs. The survival high-risk scores...
Objective To observe the changes of immune function in patients with thrombocytopenia (ITP). Methods From May 2016 to February 2017, 40 ITP were enrolled at Xiyuan Hospital and Dongfang Hospital. Twenty-four healthy persons also included. The classified into three groups: a chronic group (CG; n=22), newly diagnostic (NG; n=9), persistent (PG; n=9). expression Th1, Th2, Th17, Treg, Breg was detected by flow cytometry. Wilcoxon test used analyze difference between control (COG), while...
Objective To analyze the blood arsenic concentration and safety of compound Qinghuang powder (compound QHP) in patients with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). Methods A total 45 MDS received treatment QHP (the group, n=45). The different time was determined by atomic fluorescence spectrometry. clinical evaluated analyzing symptoms adverse reaction organ function. comparison were (QHP n=47) healthy people. Results There no significant difference between group control (P=0.450),...
Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy and safety of compound Qinghuang powder (compound QHP) for treatment myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) its association with blood arsenic concentration (BAC). Methods 40 patients MDS were treated QHP, efficacy, safety, BAC evaluated after 6, 9 months, respectively. Results After 6 rate hematology improvement was 32.5% (13/40), effective 87.5% (35/40). 21 cases depended on transfusion before treatment, completely got rid another decreased...
To analysis the specific protein markers of essential thrombocythemia (ET) based on proteomics technology, to explore and verify differential related platelet activation.Blood samples were obtained from ET patients healthy people a certain mass spectrometry was detected using label-free quantitative technology. The proteins relative abundance increased or down-regulated by 1.3 times in disease group compared with control group, two groups t test P<0.05 defined as proteins. Bioinformatics...
Abstract Climate change has greatly impacted hydrological regimes of lakes in sub-trophic and trophic areas. The uncertainties surrounding conventional future simulation methods with Coupled Model Intercomparison Project phase (CMIP) climate models have long been debated. However, it is crucial to obtain an accurate assessment result help better decision-making. In this study, we used the Lake Dianchi Basin (LDB) as a case study demonstrate use sub-catchment scale integrated model framework...
