In this work, bile acids-amino acids, L-proline and L-phenylalanine, conjugates acids amino derivatives were successfully synthesized, characterized employed as organocatalysts for direct asymmetric aldol reactions in aqueous medium. Bile exhibited high catalytic activity, with the L-proline-based organocatalyst showing highest efficiency, achieving yields up to 99%, diastereoselectivity anti product moderate enantioselectivity. The L-phenylalanine-based one demonstrated good performance,...

Cubosomes are non-lamellar lipid nanoparticles that have drawn a significant attention in the field of nanomedicine due to their tunable properties. However, formation vesicles during preparation cubosomes, and presence mixed bicontinuous cubic phases, may lead artifacts lack correlation between physico-chemical biological characterization. In this work, we formulated cubosomes composed by monoolein as building block triblock copolymer Pluronic® F108 stabilizer, encapsulating three porphyrin...

4-Methyl-5-alkyl-2(5H)-furanones have been prepared by ruthenium-catalyzed ring-closing metathesis of the suitable methallyl acrylates. Despite electron deficiency conjugated double bond and gem-disubstitution allylic alkene moiety in starting acrylates, first-generation Grubbs' catalyst I proved to be an effective promoter for ring closure, affording expected butenolides good high yields.
