Aeromonas veronii is widespread in aquatic environments and responsible for infecting various animals. In this study, a dominant strain was isolated from the hepatopancreas of diseased Macrobrachium rosenbergii named JDM1-1. According to its morphological, physiological, biochemical characteristics molecular identification, isolate JDM1-1 identified as A. veronii. The results artificial challenge showed had high pathogenicity M. with an LD50 value 8.35 × 105 CFU/mL during test....
Retraction: Methyltransferase-like 3 (METTL3) attenuates cardiomyocyte apoptosis with myocardial ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury through miR-25-3p and miR-873-5p by Xiangmei Zhao, Lei Yang, Lijie Qin. The above article from Cell Biology International, published online on September 22, 2021, in Wiley Online Library (https://doi.org/10.1002/cbin.11706) has been retracted agreement among the authors, Journal's Editor-in-Chief Sergio Schenkmann, John & Sons Ltd. behalf of International...
Macrobrachium nipponense is a significant cultivated species in China. However, decapod iridescent virus 1 (DIV1), as newly discovered crustacean-lethal virus, has resulted financial losses for the M. industry. In order to examine immunological response of DIV1, we conducted transcriptome analysis hepatopancreas from infected with DIV1 using RNA-seq. RNA sequencing identified combined total 41,712 assembled unigenes, and 7014 genes that showed differential expression were group compared...
As an opportunistic pathogen, Aeromonas veronii can cause hemorrhagic septicemia of various aquatic animals. In our present study, a dominant strain SJ4 isolated from naturally infected mandarin fish (Siniperca chuatsi), was identified as A. according to the morphological, physiological, and biochemical features, well molecular identification. Intraperitoneal injection into S. chuatsi fingerlings revealed clinical signs similar natural infection, median lethal dosage (LD50) 3.8×105 CFU/mL....
