NNW-UGKS, an engineering-oriented solver package based on the Unified Gas Kinetic Scheme(UGKS) for flows covering various regimes, is briefly introduced in current paper. Then hypersonic flowfield around a sharp-edged vehicle at high altitude simulated with NNW-UGKS. The aerodynamic force coefficients, pressure, stress and heat distributions surface are compared DSMC results. Good agreements have been achieved.
