A total of 840 coal samples were taken from the Pingshuo (Pinglu-Shuoxian) Mining District, Ningwu Coalfield, northern China. The analysed by optical microscopy, sequential chemical extraction procedure, SEM–EDX analysis, X-ray powder diffraction and ICP-MS techniques. results indicate that Li, Ga Al contents coals have reached an economically valuable level. Total Li reserves 100000, 558400 382600 tons in Nos. 4, 9 11 seams, respectively. 28600, 80700 40900 206000000 No. seam. procedure...

There is limited information available on the minerals and elements present in Jurassic coals from Datong Coalfield. This paper investigates geochemical mineralogical characteristics of Middle Tongjialiang Mine using X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), fluorescence spectrometry (XRF), inductively coupled plasma mass (ICP-MS), scanning electron microscopy combination with energy-dispersive (SEM-EDS). No.12 coal a low-medium volatile bituminous characterized by low ash yield content, moisture...

In this study, the mineralogical compositions, concentrations and occurrence modes of elements in No.5 coal from Yanzishan Mine were investigated, using X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), fluorescence spectrometry (XRF), inductively coupled plasma mass (ICP-MS), scanning electron microscopy equipped with an energy-dispersive spectrometer (SEM-EDS). The No. 5 is characterized by high ash yield content (mean 32.30%) low sulfur 0.47%). minerals are mainly composed kaolinite, quartz pyrite, a small...

Fifteen samples of No. 4 coal from the Yongdingzhuang Mine in Datong Coalfield were tested for their elemental compositions, modes occurrence, and mineralogical using X-ray powder diffraction, fluorescence spectrometry, inductively coupled plasma mass scanning electron microscopy equipped with an energy-dispersive spectrometer. The have low sulfur content (0.63%). major minerals are kaolinite quartz, followed by pyrite anatase. Compared averages Chinese coals, percentages SiO2 (15.11%), TiO2...

In this paper, the geochemical characteristics of trace elements No. 6 coal seam from Tanggongta mine, Jungar Coalfield, were studied using methods an energydispersive X-ray spectrometer (SEM-EDX) analysis, powder diffraction (XRD), inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) and fluorescence spectrometric (XRF) techniques. The content sulfur ranges 0.09% to 2.83% (1.09% on average). ash is 11.70% 31.47% (20.72% average), moisture 2.72% 6.82% (4.72% main minerals are kaolinite,...

ISEE-703 Objective: To identify mortality rates from acute myocardial infarction after exposure to high concentrations of arsenic in drinking water Northern Chile, and their latency patterns separated by age at exposure. Materials Methods: Death certificates were photographed coded for the whole Region II V Chile years 1950–1970, data obtained national computer files 1971–2000. Mortality rate ratios (RRs) between estimated Poisson regression. Results: increased within a year or so...
