In December 2019, Wuhan, China, experienced an outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19). The number cases has increased rapidly, but information on the clinical characteristics remains limited. This paper describes epidemiological and COVID-19. Early detection identification critically ill patients is necessary to facilitate scientific classification treatment. study included a retrospective, single-center case series 99 consecutively hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19 at Chengdu Public Health...

Podocyte injury, which involves the podocyte epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) process, is a crucial factor contributing to progression of diabetic nephropathy (DN) and proteinuria. Our study aimed examine protective properties Angiopoietin-like protein 3 (Angptl3) knockout on damage macrophage polarization in DN mice podocytes treated with HG. Furthermore, we also sought investigate underlying molecular mechanism responsible for these effects. was induced B6;129S5 through...

Minimal change disease (MCD) is the common type of nephrotic syndrome in children. There an urgent need to explore new treatment methods as current treatments have many drawbacks and cause significant side effects. Our group found that Angiopoietin-like protein 3 (Angptl3) closely related renal Angptl3 knockout significantly alleviated proteinuria mice with adriamycin nephropathy (AN), however, some was still present. Minnelide a water-soluble prodrug triptolide which has been used for...

The pathogenic mechanisms of diabetic nephropathy (DN) include podocyte injury, inflammatory responses and metabolic disorders. Although the antagonism Angiopoietin-like protein 3 (ANGPTL3) can alleviate proteinuria symptoms by inhibiting activation integrin αvβ3 on surface podocytes, it not impede other pathological processes, such as dysfunction glucolipid. Interleukin-22 (IL-22) is considered to be a pivotal molecule involved in suppressing responses, initiating regenerative repair,...

Abstract Aim Maternal dietary protein restriction reduces nephron number in offspring and increases the risk of cardiovascular chronic kidney diseases. Perlecan is major basement membrane/extracellular matrix heparan sulfate proteoglycan ( HSPG ) that plays a crucial role formation. This study was to determine whether maternal during pregnancy leads an abnormal perlecan expression pattern development correlation with aberrant cell proliferation apoptosis. Methods Pregnant Sprague–Dawley rats...

Adverse intrauterine and early postnatal environment cause reduced nephron endowment subsequent hypertension, chronic kidney disease (CKD). Exploring modifiable approaches is particularly important to alleviate the global burden of CKD. Enhanced glomerular progenitor cell apoptosis a major contributor renal developmental programming. The differentially expressed protein perlecan, which we previously identified using proteomics, an extracellular matrix glycoprotein, its domain V...

This study investigates the linguistic traits of fake news and real news. There are two parts to this study: text data speech data. The for consisted 6420 COVID-19 related tweets re-filtered from Patwa et al. (2021). After cleaning, dataset contained 3049 tweets, with 2161 labeled as 'real' 888 'fake'. was collected TikTok, focusing on videos. Research assistants fact-checked each video's content using credible sources them 'Real', 'Fake', or 'Questionable', resulting in a 91 entries 109 200...
