A layered vanadium phosphate [V4O7(HPO4)2(2,2′-bipy)2] was synthesized and characterized (elemental analysis, IR thermal analysis) by the hydrothermal reaction of NaVO3·2H2O, ZnO, H3PO4, 2,2′-bipy water.
