Thermal conductivity and electrical resistivity at ultralow temperatures high magnetic fields are studied in the topological compensated semimetals TaAs2, NbAs2, NdSb. A striking phenomenon is observed where thermal shows a T4 scaling very low temperatures, while T-independent residual term. This indicates strong violation of Wiedemann–Franz (WF) law, since field dependence κ that low-temperature dominated by electronic transport. The obtained Lorenz ratio hundreds times lower than...

Background Blood pressure (BP) is a key factor for the clinical outcomes of acute ischemic stroke (AIS) receiving endovascular thrombectomy (EVT). However, effect circadian pattern BP on functional outcome unclear. Methods This multicenter, retrospective, observational study was conducted from 2016 to 2023 at three hospitals in China (ChiCTR2300077202). A total 407 patients who underwent (EVT) and continuous 24-h monitoring were included. Two hundred forty-one cases Beijing Hospital...

The bromocresol green (BCG) and purple (BCP) assays often yield discordant serum albumin results. This study seeks to test the hypothesis that bias in results are influenced by concentration of globulin subtypes. concentrations albumin, α1-globulin, α2-globulin, β-globulin γ-globulin determined 197 human specimens total protein quantification electrophoresis, BCG BCP assays. influence globulins on measurement is validated with mixtures globulins. assay was directly proportional α1-globulin...

Androgen and its receptor (AR) play an important role in maintaining spermatogenesis male fertility. The nonclassical androgen signaling pathway is proposed to be mediated by AR plasma membrane Sertoli cells. Our previous studies showed that testosterone induces cytoplasmic translocation binding with caveolin-1. This study was conducted the underlying molecular mechanism mediating trafficking. Data from mass spectrometry using coimmunoprecipitation sample anti-AR antibody indicated VAPA a...

We report the magnetoresistance (MR), de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) effect and Hall measurements on a single crystal of TiSi, which is predicted to be nodal line semimetal. With application magnetic field, metal-to-insulator-like transition in ρ(T) nonsaturating MR are observed at low temperatures. The dHvA oscillations reveal small Fermi-surface pocket with nontrivial Berry phase. analysis nonlinear resistivity shows that TiSi multiband system carrier densities high mobilities. All these...
