Electron-positron angular correlations were measured for the isovector magnetic dipole 17.6 MeV (${J}^{\ensuremath{\pi}}={1}^{+}$, $T=1$) $\text{state}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\text{ground}$ state (${J}^{\ensuremath{\pi}}={0}^{+}$, $T=0$) and isoscalar 18.15 transitions in $^{8}\mathrm{Be}$. Significant enhancement relative to internal pair creation was observed at large angles correlation transition with a confidence level of $>5\ensuremath{\sigma}$. This observation could possibly be due...

The question, whether the high-quality nucleon-nucleon potentials can successfully describe three-nucleon system, and to what extent forces (3NFs) play a role, has become very important in nuclear few-body physics. One kinematic region where effects because of 3NFs show up is minimum differential cross section elastic nucleon-deuteron scattering. Another observable, which could give an indication about contribution spin 3NFs, vector analyzing power. To investigate importance systematically...

Low‐dimensional copper halides with perovskite–analogue structure are a rapidly growing material family for light‐emitting and X‐ray screening devices. Among them Cs 3 Cu 2 I 5 exhibits exceptional optoelectronic properties (large Stokes shift, high emission yield), due to the strong confinement effect of its 0D structure. However, radioluminescence response energetic ions has only marginally been explored heavy fully ignored detrimental luminescence quenching. Herein, scintillation thin...

The β-feeding probabilities for three important contributors to the decay heat in nuclear reactors, namely 102,104,105Tc, have been measured using total absorption spectroscopy technique. For measurements, sources of very high isobaric purity obtained a Penning trap (JYFLTRAP). A detailed description data analysis is given and results are compared with high-resolution measurements theoretical calculations.16 MoreReceived 23 October 2012DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevC.87.044318©2013...
