The vegetable production is an important part of agriculture sector in every country. In Poland, vegetables and fruits covering the area no more than 3% agricultural land, 36% plant 14–15% whole production. study aim was to determine management possibilities selected waste from composting process. Laboratory tests were carried out using bioreactor set-up with capacity 165 dm3, respectively, for each chamber. process has been tested following mixtures: K1—cabbage leaves, tomato dry leaves +...

Digestate from a biogas plant can be valuable organic and mineral fertilizer.Quantitative proportions of cosubstrates used in three agricultural plants Poland were analyzed. The composition digestates was examined large differences the content macronutrients found, especially N K. On basis factors to calculate emissions production use artificial fertilizers, greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction resulting replacing fertilizers with digestate calculated. In terms 1 Mg fresh digestate, this may not...

Maize stover is a morphologically diverse biomass, consisting of cobs, leaves, husks and stalks. Technological solutions allow separation maize fractions depending on harvest term, tissular chemical composition. Different compositions lignocellulose biomasses affect energy efficiency specific in methane fermentation. The aim this study was to correlate the composition (cobs, husks, leaves stalks) with yield value while considering different times for biogas Pearson correlation coefficients...

In our daily lives we often assess surroundings to classify the situations encounter. We do so based on observations make of and information obtain from other sources, using knowledge abilities. While this process is natural us, if want give a similar task computer system then have take various steps in order enable computers partially emulate human capacity for observation, learning making final decisions knowledge. As complexity increases, there an increasing demand systems which can...

The aim of the article was to present effects lignin grafted with polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) as a microbial carrier in anaerobic co-digestion (AcoD) cheese (CE) and wafer waste (WF). Individual samples wafers were also tested. PVP modifier used improve adhesive properties surface. Lignin is natural biopolymer which exhibits all good carrier, including nontoxicity, biocompatibility, porosity, thermal stability. Moreover, analysis zeta potential combined showed their high electrokinetic...

The paper presents the energy and economic comparison of two technologies maize straw utilization: solid biofuel production (briquettes) methane fermentation. research experiments have shown that is material which can be efficiently implemented in both technologies. Maize usage as briquettes generate more (10.956 GJ Mg−1) than fermentation (9.74). In Europe, biogas used co-generation units for electric heat energy. Due to higher price electricity, profitability over twice (182 USD) case (96 USD).

Currently there is a visible tendency observed to replace the fieldworks by experiments run in laboratory scale different types of reactors. Laboratory tests give possibility precise measurement and do not require large costs efforts. The designed monitoring system that allows track process every moment, at any time, from location via Internet, huge facilitation research work. This paper presents functioning rules bioreactor operation collecting data during experiments.

Abstract Algae have been cultivated commercially since the 1950s, mainly for pharmaceutical industry, but only recently gained attention as a potential source of biomass and sink CO2. promise potentially high productivity per hectare, could be grown on non-arable land, can utilize wide variety water sources (fresh, brackish, saline wastewater), recycle CO2 flue gas other nutrient waste streams [1]. The paper describes concept building photoreactor intensive microalgae cultivation in laboratory scale.
