Eight alkaloids (1⁻8) were isolated from Ruta graveolens, and their herbicide activities evaluated through in vitro, semivivo, vivo assays. The most relevant results observed for Compounds 5 6⁻8 at 150 μM, which decreased dry biomass by 20% 23%, respectively. These are significant since they presented similar values with the positive control, commercial 3-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-1,1-dimethylurea (DCMU). Based on performed assays, Compound (graveoline) is classified as an electron-transport...
Porphyrin synthesis by classical methods frequently involves harsh conditions yielding products with poor scalability. Herein, a continuous flow approach is described, thus demonstrating scaled-up procedure in safe and highly pure manner.
A central pillar of modern weed control is the discovery new herbicides which are nontoxic to humans and environment have low application dosage. The natural products found in plants microorganisms well suited this context because they generally a wide variety biological activities. In work, Diaporthe phaseolorum (Dp), Penicillium simplicissimum (Ps) Trichoderma spirale (Ts) (methanolic extracts) were evaluated as photosynthesis plant growth inhibitors Senna occidentalis Ipomoea grandifolia....
Abstract Essential oils can be considered antifungal agents in controlling food contamination, due to their biological potential. Eremanthus erythropappus essential oil (EEO) was extracted by hydrodistillation, and its chemical composition evaluated gas chromatography using mass spectrometer (GC‐MS) flame ionization detectors (GC‐FID). EEO antimycotoxygenic effect on different species of Aspegillus genus. The main component the α‐bisabolol (98.853%). exhibited fungicidal activity at...
The techniques LC-UV-BPSU and LC-UV-SPE/NMR were applied for the first time in analysis of açai berry (Euterpe oleracea Mart.) pulp extracts. Those allowed identification twenty-three metabolites: Valine (1), citric acid (2), tachioside (3), isotachioside (4), α-guaiacylglycerol (5), syringylglycerol (6), uridine (7), adenosine (8), dimethoxy-1,4-benzoquinone (9), koaburaside (10), protocatechuic (11), eurycorymboside B (12), 7′,8′-dihydroxy-dihydrodehydroconiferyl...
PHYTOCHEMICAL AND CHEMOSYSTEMATICS STUDIES OF Conchocarpus marginatus C. inopinatus (Rutaceae).Phytochemical studies of the leaves and stem have led to identification known acridone alkaloids arborinine, methylarborinine, 1-hydroxy-3-methoxy-N-methyl acridone, xanthoxoline, 1,2,3,5-tetramethoxy-N-methylacridone, toddaliopsin C new seco alkaloid inopinatin. The quinoline 2-phenyl-1-methyl-quinolin-4(1H)-one, 2-phenyl-1-methyl-7methoxy-quinolin-4(1H)-one, dictamnine, coumarins scopoletin...
Endophytic fungi are an important class of microorganisms, able to interact with a host plant via mutualistic mechanism without visible symptoms the fungal colonization. The synergy between endophytic and their can promote morphological, physiological biochemical changes through expression bioactive metabolites. This work aims correlate metabolic in Combretum lanceolatum metabolome its Diaporthe phaseolorum (Dp) Trichoderma spirale (Ts), discover corresponding metabolite-biomarkers,...
Currently, most food waste is used as animal feed and this process does not take advantage of the available chemical composition.A Brazilian example citrus fruit processing wastes (CFPW), which have begun to draw attention due their biological importance. In order access main compounds matrix, an efficient environmentally friendly procedure was tested. From extract, flavonoids naringenin, hesperitin, chrysoeriol, sinensetin, 3,5,6,7,3',4'-hexamethoxyflavone, nobiletin, 5-methoxysalvigenin,...
The aim of this work was to identify and quantify the metabolites present in roots Combretum lanceolatum inoculated with its endophytic fungi. metabolomics accomplished using 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectral data evaluated via rNMR software Madison Metabolomics Consortium Database (MMCD). principal component analysis (PCA) partial least squares-discriminant (PLS-DA) showed that plants Trichoderma spirale (Ts) differentiation discrimination over time as compared control. Seven...
Diaporthe phaseolorum, an endophyte isolated from Combretum lanceolatum, has exhibited diverse biological activities including antimicrobial, leishmanicidal, antitumoral, and herbicidal properties. Regardless of these activities, there remains limited research on its chemical constituents. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the metabolome D. phaseolorum employing mass spectrometry data dereplication through molecular networking MolNetEnhancer tools. Twenty-two families were...
The metabolomics community and natural product researchers usually use hyphenated analytical techniques to investigate the metabolic profile in complex matrices.Modern instruments used metabolomic strategies generally provide a large amount of data, these results processing can be optimized by computational tools. The classical tools, such as consulting reference databases represents one commonly strategies, however, this approach lead considerable number unidentified metabolites, addition...
PHOTOSYSTHEM II INHIBITORS: AN ALLELOCHEMICAL PERSPECTIVE. The process of photosynthesis involves the absorption light energy by photosynthetic pigments found in thylakoid membrane chloroplasts order to produce chemical energy. In presence inhibitors, plant development is affected mainly reduction electron chain, which leads growth inhibition. this context, chlorophyll a (Chl a) fluorescence an important technique used identify effects inhibitors on apparatus employing JIP-test, correlates...
O abacate (Persea americana Mill.)
