Encapsulation of poorly water-soluble drugs into mesoporous materials (e.g. silica) has evolved as a favorable strategy to improve drug solubility and bioavailability. Several techniques spray drying, solvent evaporation, microwave irradiation) have been utilized for the encapsulation active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) inorganic porous matrices. In present work, novel chalcone (KAZ3) with anticancer properties was successfully synthesized by Claisen-Schmidt condensation. KAZ3 loaded...

Abstract A liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (LC‐MS/MS) method, characterized by complete automation and high‐throughput, was developed for the determination of colistin B in human plasma. All sample preparation procedures were performed using 2.2 mL 96‐deep‐well plates, whereas robotic liquid‐handling workstations utilized all transfer steps, including solid‐phase extraction (SPE). The whole procedure very rapid, method had a short chromatographic run time just 2 min. Sample...

Oxidative stress degrades skin collagen and elastin causes inflammatory reactions that affect mitochondrial DNA leading to aging. In the present study, a potential cosmetic nano-emulsion (o/w) of seven substances (chlorogenic acid, caffeine, rutin, hesperidin, quercetin, α-tocopherol retinol) with antioxidant anti-aging properties was prepared analyzed. The lipophilic components were entrapped in dispersed nanoparticles (jojoba) emulsion while hydrophilic ones dissolved aqueous phase...

Buccal films containing two vitamins, i.e., thiamine hydrochloride (THCl) and nicotinic acid (NA), were fabricated via two-dimensional (2D) inkjet printing. For the preparation of buccal films, solubility studies rheological evaluations conducted in distilled water propylene-glycol (PG) as main solvent viscosity/surface tension modifier, respectively. The increased solvents’ mixture indicated that manufacturing several doses THCl NA is achievable. Various deposited onto sugar-sheet...
