▪ Abstract This review describes the most recent progress in use of polymer multiresponsive microgels as central components advanced, functional colloidal materials. Significant areas development include microreactors for templated synthesis inorganic nanoparticles with predetermined properties, optically active materials including lenses and photonic crystals, primary units site-specific controlled drug delivery systems.
