Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is an invasive and rapidly progressive malignancy. A major challenge in patient management the lack of a reliable imaging tool to monitor tumor response treatment. Tumor-associated fibrosis characterized by high type I collagen hallmark PDAC, further increases neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (CRT). We hypothesized that molecular positron emission tomography (PET) using collagen-specific probe,

Lanthanide complexes LnL3 (Ln = Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy, Tm, Yb, Lu) with aromatic o-phosphorylated ligands (HL(1) and HL(2)) have been synthesized identified. Their molecular structure was proposed on the basis of a new complex approach, including DFT calculations, Sparkle/PM3 modelling, EXAFS spectroscopy luminescent probing. The photophysical properties all were investigated in detail to obtain deeper insight into energy transfer processes.

An amplifiable magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) probe that combines the stability of macrocyclic Gd-DOTAGA core with a peroxidase-reactive 5-hydroxytryptamide (5-HT) moiety is reported. The incubation complex under enzymatic oxidative conditions led to 1.7-fold increase in r1 at 1.4 T was attributed an oligomerization upon oxidation. This probe, Gd-5-HT-DOTAGA, provided specific detection lung inflammation by MRI bleomycin-injured mice.
