Eosinophils primarily secrete CCL6 to promote tumor cell migration and metastasis formation.
Abstract Eosinophils are terminally differentiated cells derived from hematopoietic stem (HSCs) in the bone marrow. Several studies have confirmed effective roles of eosinophils asthmatic airway pathogenesis. However, their regulatory functions not been well elucidated. Here, increased C-C chemokine ligand 6 (CCL6) mice and human orthologs CCL15 CCL23 that highly expressed asthma patients described, which mainly eosinophils. Using Ccl6 knockout mice, further revealed CCL6-dependent allergic...
To examine the relationship between IL-23/IL-17 pathway gene polymorphisms and scleritis susceptibility in Chinese Han population. We assessed pathway-related SNPs 898 cases 1,573 controls, employing stratified analysis to evaluate subtype-specific impacts a discovery-validation cohort strategy ensure genetic association reliability. IL-23 R/rs10789229 TC genotype C allele, IL-21/rs2221903 TT T allele were more frequent patients (Pc = 2.07 × 10-3-2.77 10-6, OR 1.497-2.327, 95% CI...
Stem cell-based tissue engineering represents a promising therapeutic for osteochondral restoration. A bilayer scaffold with an appropriate niche can simultaneously induce stem cells cartilage and bone regeneration. However, the engineered derived from tends to ossify due vascular invasion. Bevacizumab possesses pronounced anti-angiogenic activity by inhibiting endothelial growth factor (VEGF) signaling pathway. Here, we prepared bilayered collagen-based bevacizumab loaded in upper layer...
Abstract Rationale: Listeria monocytogenes rarely affects immunocompetent adults, and only a few cases of encephalitis caused by L in humans have been reported China. Patient concerns : A 37-year-old male patient presented with headache fever 38°C to 39°C for 2 days dysphoria dystrophy 1 day. Diagnosis: The was diagnosed as having encephalitis, his cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) blood cultures tested positive . Interventions: treated intravenous vancomycin, meropenem, mannitol,...
To explore effect of 5-AZn-2 '-deoxycytidine on proliferation human lung adenocarcinoma cell line A549 in vitro.Superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity was measured by hydroxylamine colorimetric method. Inhibition 5-AZn-2' deoxycytidylic acid at different concentration and time growth determined MTT assay. Methylene dioxyamphetamine (MDA) thiobarbituric Effect apoptosis Hoechst 33258 dyeing detection.5-AZn-2' had significant inhibition cells vitro, the notably dependent dosage during 48-72 h;...
Abstract Background Acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) is the main factor that leads to deterioration disease. Currently, diagnosis AECOPD mainly relies on clinical manifestations, good predictors or biomarkers are lacking. We aim reveal specific and potential pathogenesis provide a research basis for treatment. Methods Four patients with AECOPD, four stable COPD, five control subjects were enrolled RNA sequencing KEGG analysis. The mRNA level target genes...
Several studies have stated that TNF-α participates in the pathogenesis of scleritis, but also several systemic autoimmune diseases and vasculitis, which some are associated with scleritis. Earlier GWAS SNP confirmed multiple SNPs TNF related genes many immune-mediated disorders. The purpose this study was to examine association gene polymorphisms scleritis Chinese Han. A case-control carried out 556 non-infectious cases 742 normal controls. total 28 single-nucleotide (SNPs) were genotyped...
Abstract Background In nonneutropenic patients with underlying respiratory diseases (URD), invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) is a life-threatening disease. Yet establishing early diagnosis in those remains quite challenge. Methods A retrospective series of probable or proven IPA were reviewed from January 2014 to May 2018 Department Respiratory Medicine two Chinese hospitals. Those suspected and underwent lung computed tomography (CT) scans twice within 5–21 days. The items required for...
The common late complications of foreign body aspiration include granulation formation, obstructive pneumonia, and atelectasis. However, a body-induced pleural infection is very rare, especially when it not iatrogenic.A 64-year-old Chinese man was admitted to our hospital with septic shock acute respiratory failure requiring intubation mechanical ventilation. Computed tomography revealed multiloculated effusion on the whole right side lung atelectasis, enhanced thickening calcification...
Background: Chronic cough is a common complaint that in rare cases can be caused by premature ventricular beats (PVCs). Materials and Methods: In this report, we present the case of healthy 44-year-old female who presented persistent syncope was attributed to PVCs. Results: The disappeared after radiofrequency ablation, no recurrence arrhythmia or observed. Conclusion: PVCs should considered probable cause chronic differential diagnosis.
Flt3 (fms-like tyrosine kinase-3)is a family member of the type Ⅲ kinase receptors. And Flt3-L,the ligand Flt3,as an early-phase hematopoietic growth factor,is more and attentioned in recent years. Recently, many studies focused on role Flt3-L bronchial asthma (asthma). Most indicated that can inhibit, even reverse, occurrence asthma, including allergic airway inflammation hyperresponsiveness, which is mediated by dendritic cells or regular T cells. Given potential importance treatment...

Abstract Background: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) are both common respiratory diseases. Acute exacerbation of COPD (AECOPD) could be triggered by CAP. Peripheral blood eosinopenia strongly associated with increased mortality. In hospitalized AECOPD patients CAP, may used to identified high risk death on admission. Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study Patients who had received systemic corticosteroids preadmission were...
