A bstract The three precision measurements of the cross section σ ( e + − → π γ(γ)) using initial state radiation by KLOE collaboration provide an important input for prediction hadronic contribution to anomalous magnetic moment muon. These are correlated both statistical and systematic uncertainties and, therefore, simultaneous use these requires covariance matrices that fully describe correlations. We searched for the $μ^+μ^-$ decay of a light vector gauge boson, also known as dark photon, in $e^+ e^- \to μ^+ μ^- γ_{\rm ISR}$ process by means Initial State Radiation (ISR) method. used 1.93~fb$^{-1}$ data collected KLOE experiment at DA$Φ$NE $ϕ$-factory. No structures have been observed over irreducible $μ^+ μ^-$ background. A 90\% CL limit on ratio $\varepsilon^2=α^{\prime}/α$ between coupling constant and fine structure $ 3\times 10^{-6}-2\times 10^{-7}$ has set photon mass region 519...
We have measured the running of effective QED coupling constant $\alpha(s)$ in time-like region $0.6<\sqrt s< 0.975$ GeV with KLOE detector at DA$\Phi$NE using Initial State Radiation process $e^+e^-\to\mu^+ \mu^-\gamma$. It represents first measurement this energy region. Our results show a more than 5$\sigma$ significance hadronic contribution to $\alpha(s)$, which is strongest direct evidence both time- and space-like regions achieved single measurement. By $e^+e^-\to\pi^+\pi^-$ cross...
We present the analysis of K− absorption processes on He4 leading to Λπ− final states, measured with KLOE spectrometer at DAΦNE e+e− collider and extract, for first time, modulus non-resonant K−n →Λπ− direct production amplitude about 33 MeV below K‾N threshold. This also allows disentangle nuclear at-rest from in-flight capture, momenta 120 MeV. The data are interpreted help a phenomenological model, is found be |AK−n→Λπ−|=(0.334±0.018stat−0.058+0.034syst)fm.
The determination of low-energy cross sections and branching ratios the $$\hbox {K}^-$$ multi-nucleon absorption processes in $$\Lambda \hbox {p}$$ $$\Sigma ^0\hbox final states performed by AMADEUS collaboration is presented. Low momentum ( $$p_{\mathrm{K}} \simeq 127\ {MeV}/\hbox {c}$$ ) produced at {DA}\Phi {NE}$$ collider are impinged on a Carbon target within KLOE detector two three nucleon disentangled comparing experimental data to phenomenological calculations. spectra interpreted...
Kinetic instabilities driven by runaway electrons (REs) have recently received attention in the fusion community as a means to control and diagnose REs tokamak. Experiments aimed at studying such kinetic been performed Frascati Tokamak Upgrade (FTU), where different families of waves identified, from wide-band bursting emissions quasi-monochromatic sharp lines, presence with energies few tens MeV. A specific family intense drive was directly observed for first time, during both early Ohmic...
Radiofrequency emission in the 0.4–3 GHz range from FTU tokamak presence of runaway electrons (REs) has been measured various plasma regimes. Rapid bursts associated with enhanced RE pitch-angle scattering reveal kinetic instabilities affecting evolution population buildup phase. Such measurements also provide a sensitive monitor for during early formation. The leading edge radio is much shorter than interleaving periods low emission; spectral broadening growth indicates nonlinear wave...
A bstract Using 1.63 fb −1 of integrated luminosity collected by the KLOE experiment about 7 × 10 4 K S → π ± e ∓ ν decays have been reconstructed. The measured value charge asymmetry for this decay is = (−4.9 5.7 stat 2.6 syst ) −3 , which almost twice more precise than previous result. combination these two measurements gives (−3.8 5.0 and, together with L semileptonic decay, provides significant tests CPT symmetry. obtained results are in agreement invariance.

Based on a sample of 300 million $K_S$ mesons produced in $\phi \to K_L K_S$ decays recorded by the KLOE experiment at DA$\Phi$NE $e^+e^-$ collider we have measured branching fraction for decay $K_S \pi \mu \nu$. This work is a critical re-analysis of the results obtained by AMADEUS collaboration, concerning measurement K− multi-nucleon absorption reactions, on 12C target, in Λp final state (Del Grande et al 2019 Eur. Phys. J. C 79, 190). We show that good estimate two-nucleon total branching ratio can be extracted, given measured interactions and conversion reactions contain information almost all remaining hyperon-nucleon combinations. The main contribution to Carbon extracted from ratios found ,...
