Abstract New strategies with high antimicrobial efficacy against multidrug-resistant bacteria are urgently desired. Herein, we describe a smart triple-functional nanostructure, namely TRIDENT (Thermo-Responsive-Inspired Drug-Delivery Nano-Transporter), for reliable bacterial eradication. The robust antibacterial effectiveness is attributed to the integrated fluorescence monitoring and synergistic chemo-photothermal killing. We notice that temperature rises generated by near-infrared...

Abstract Nitrogen (N) deposition usually increases plant tissue N concentrations and thus phosphorus (P) demand in young and/or N‐limited forests, but the effect on P has rarely been assessed N‐saturated forests. Impacts of 18‐year external additions (Control: 0, Low N: 50, Moderate N:100 High 150 kg ha −1 year ) leaf four life‐forms (tree, shrub, herb liana), fractions bulk rhizosphere soils were examined a mature tropical forest southern China. Leaf N, ratios all remained stable under...

Abstract Intercorrelated aboveground traits associated with costs and plant growth have been widely used to predict vegetation in response environmental changes. However, whether underground exhibit consistent responses remains unclear, particularly N‐rich subtropical forests. Responses of foliar root morphological physiological tree herb species after 8‐year N, P, combined N P treatments (50 kg ha −1 year ) were examined leguminous Acacia auriculiformis ( AA nonleguminous Eucalyptus...

Rooting ability of rice seedling for mechanical transplanting has a large impact on grain yield. This study explored the relationship between endogenous soluble sugar content and rooting seedlings. We placed 15-day-old seedlings in controlled environment cabinets with stable light sampled after 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 24 hours to measure their content, nitrate starch protein ability. The before increased rapidly from 65.1 mg g-1 126.3 first 9 then tended stabilize; however, few significant changes...

Abstract In this paper, the x-ray emissions are measured by interaction of 1500–3500 keV Xe q+ (q = 12, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 26 and 29) ions with Zn target. When q < 29, we observe Ll, Lα, Lβ 1 , 2 Lγ characteristic x-rays from a broad M-shell molecular orbital (MO) band transient quasi-molecular levels. It is found that their yields quickly increase different rates as incident energy increases. Besides, widths MO bands about 0.9–1.32 over range studied proportional to v 1/2 (v projectile...
