The aim of the present study was to evaluate antimicrobial activity nanoparticle and free formulations CAPE compound using different methods comparing results in literature for first time. In parallel with this purpose, encapsulation PLGA system (CAPE-PLGA-NPs) characterization nanoparticles were carried out. Afterwards, CAPE-PLGA-NPs determined agar well diffusion, disk broth microdilution reduction percentage methods. P. aeroginosa, E. coli, S. aureus methicillin-resistant (MRSA) chosen as...
Quercetin (Qu) is a natural flavonoid present in many commonly consumed food items. The dietary phytochemical quercetin prevents tumor proliferation and potent therapeutic cancer agent. purpose of this study was to synthesize characterize quercetin-loaded poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) nanoparticles (Qu1NP, Qu2NP, Qu3NP) with different size encapsulation properties evaluate their vitro activity on C6 glioma cells. Nanoparticles were synthesized by single emulsion solvent evaporation method....
This study aimed to synthesize and characterize juglone-entrapped poly(d,l-lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanoparticles compare the antifungal properties of free juglone with its PLGA nanoparticle formulation for first time. The juglone-loaded prepared using oil-in-water (o/w) single-emulsion solvent evaporation method were characterized by reaction yield (RY), encapsulation efficiency (EE), polydispersity index (PDI), particle size, zeta potential (ZP), FT-IR, in vitro release evaluated...
The aim of this study was to evaluate anti-cancer properties hesperetin (Hsp) and hesperetin-loaded poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) nanoparticles (HspNPs) for glioblastoma treatment. Nanoparticles prepared by single emulsion method had a size less than 300 nm with 70.7 ± 3.9% reaction yield 26.4 1.1% Hsp loading capacity. Treatment C6 glioma cells HspNPs 24 48 h resulted in dose- time-dependent decrease cell viability, approximate IC50 28 21 μg/mL, respectively (p = .036 h, p .025 h)....
ABSTRACT siRNA‐loaded nanoparticles open new perspectives for cancer treatment. MAPK6 is upregulated in breast and involved cell growth, differentiation cycle regulation. Herein, we aimed to investigate the anticancer effects of knockdown by using PLGA (siMAPK6‐PLGA‐NPs) MCF‐7 cells. After synthesis characterisation nanoparticles, treatment concentrations were determined with cytotoxicity assay. Subsequently, siMAPK6‐PLGA‐NPs evaluated vitro assays. have been suppress expression efficiently....
Abstract Glioblastoma is the most common and highly invasive glial tumor, significantly reducing patient survival. Current therapeutic approaches have limited success rates. Plant-derived nanovesicles are a rapidly developing area, recognized for their exceptional biofunctional properties, emerging as promising approach in cancer treatment. The present study focuses on isolation of from Viburnum opulus fruits using cost-effective method that includes polymer-based exosome precipitation...
The aim of the study was to examine effect different process parameters which including; initial juglone amount, poly(d,l-lactide co-glycolide) polyvinyl alcohol volume and concentration on encapsulation nanoparticles. The synthesized nanoparticle formulations were analyzed for reaction yield, efficiency, particle size, polydispersity, zeta potential release. In conjunction with highest rate, amount release obtained F4 formulation, has 281·8 nm 0·217 polydispersity index, -19·55 mV potential....
The use of quercetin as a bioflavonoid is becoming increasingly common in food industries even though poor water solubility, instability, absorption, and permeability have limited its application. oil-in-water single-emulsion solvent evaporation method to synthesize highly stable soluble quercetin-encapsulated nanoparticles (NPs), which the reaction yield, particle size, polydispersity NPs are varied greatly within process parameters synthesis method, has been optimized. with different...
Hesperetin was effectively encapsulated into poly (d,l-lactic-co-glycolic acid) nanoparticles by using experimental design methods. A seven-factor Plackett-Burman used in order to determine the major process parameters. significant linear equation, which shows effect of each parameter on encapsulation efficiency developed, and then most effective factors were determined. Further investigation optimization carried out applying three-factor three-level Box-Behnken design. Significant...
The hydrogel is a biopolymer exhibiting swelling behaviour involving significant amount of water due to its insoluble, three-dimensional network structure when exposed the aqueous medium, and allows use in wound dressings. In present study, was synthesized from chitosan carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) polymers as result chemical reaction at which N,N'-methylenebisacrylamide (MBA) used cross-linker ammonium persulfate (APS) initiator-catalyst. Characteristic features were determined by FTIR...
Objective To investigate the expression and importance of nuclear accumulation p53 in superficial transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) bladder its role as a predictor response to treatment. Patients methods Tumour samples from 30 patients (two women 28 men, mean age 60.1 years, range 44–75) with pTa/pT1 tumours were assessed immunohistochemically using Pab1801 monoclonal antibody standard avidin‐biotin peroxidase staining for protein. Results Tumours six (20%) showed p53; five these failed...
Quercetin (QU) is an important flavonoid compound presenting lots of biological activities, but its application has been limited due to low aqueous solubility and instability. In this study, conducted improve these properties the quercetin, quercetin-encapsulated PLGA nanoparticles were prepared, characterized, evaluated for antioxidant hemolytic activity. Nanoparticles produced by single emulsion solvent evaporation method. Four different process parameters initial QU amount, PVA...
This study investigated the effects of chelidonic acid (CA) on hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) induced cellular senescence in human skin fibroblast cells (BJ). Cellular is a critical mechanism that linked to age-related diseases and chronic conditions. CA, γ-pyrone compound known for its broad pharmacological activity, was assessed potential mitigate oxidative stress alter markers. A stress-induced premature (SIPS) model designed BJ using agent H2O2. After this treatment, were treated with effect...
Nanoparticles are frequently investigated as carrier systems that increase the biological activities of hydrophobic molecules, especially by providing them with water solubility.
