Child abuse can cause injury to any part of the eye. The most common manifestations are retinal hemorrhages (RHs) in infants and young children with abusive head trauma (AHT). Although RHs an important indicator possible AHT, they also found other conditions. Distinguishing number, type, location, pattern is evaluating a differential diagnosis. Eye be seen cases physical or AHT may prompt referral for ophthalmologic assessment. Physicians have responsibility consider diagnosis pediatric eye...

Background: Cobalamin C disease (cblC), which leads to methylmalonic acidemia with homocystinuria, is the most common inherited disorder of vitamin B12 metabolism. Reported ocular findings associated cblC have been maculopathy, pigmentary retinopathy, and optic nerve atrophy. A (cblA) causes an isolated without homocystinuria rarer than cblC. This first detailed report cblA. We also describe spectrum in our patients.Materials methods: case series describing ophthalmologic clinical course six...
