Solvent and physical treatment are widely used in egg yolk processing, but the detailed changes molecular structure of proteins during processing unclear. The aim this study was to investigate effects ethanol ultrasonic treatments on chicken low-density lipoprotein (LDL). solubility, emulsifying activity stability decreased by 74.75%, 46.91%, 81.58% after treatment, respectively. average particle size ethanol-treated LDL increased 13.3-fold 937.85 nm. These results suggested that induced...

The aim of this study was to investigate lipolysis and lipid oxidation stored eggs at different temperatures (4 22°C) by evaluating the changes in physicochemical index, profiles, enzymatic activity, oxidative index. results showed that index were more significant 22°C than 4°C. Weight loss, moisture content, pH egg yolk increased significantly (P < 0.05), whereas decreased during storage. However, there no difference profiles between 4 storage temperature. composition analysis demonstrated...

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is considered a risk factor for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular owing to its close association with coagulant disturbances. However, the precise biological functions mechanisms that connect coagulation factors NAFLD pathology remain inadequately understood. Herein, unbiased bioinformatics analyses followed by functional testing, we demonstrate hepatic expression of VII (FVII) decreases in patients mice NAFLD/nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). By...

Paeoniflorn (PF), the principal bioactive component of Paeoniae radix prescribed in traditional Chinese medicine, possesses a wide range biological effects and exhibits neuroprotective numerous diseases. Previous studies have demonstrated that PF significantly attenuates memory impairment rats with vascular dementia (VD). In present study, bilateral common carotid artery occlusion (BCCAO) rat model was used to explore underlying mechanisms PF. The expression levels neuron-specific enolase...

Abstract Objective To study the associations between heterogeneity of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) subtype/prepregnancy body mass index (pre‐BMI) and large‐for‐gestational‐age (LGA) infants Chinese women. Methods We performed a retrospective case‐control 299 women with GDM 204 normal glucose tolerance (NGT), using oral test‐based indices at 24‐25 weeks gestation. Women were classified into following three physiologic subtypes: predominant insulin‐secretion defect (GDM‐dysfunction),...

The objective of this study was to document the impact preoperative Karnofsky Performance Scale (KPS) and American Society Anesthesiologists (ASA) scores on perioperative complications in patients with recurrent glioma who underwent tumor resection via craniotomy. A total 96 were retrospectively reviewed. Based KPS ASA scores, categorized into high (> 70) or low (≤ (3~4) (1~2) groups. Differences intraoperative risk factors among groups analyzed. Multivariate analysis performed identify for...

To study the risk factors of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) heterogeneity, and to evaluate correlation between obesity. We performed a case-control 452 women with GDM 516 normal glucose tolerance (NGT) at first second trimester. We defined as GDM-resistance subtype, GDM-dysfunction GDM-mixed according their simultaneous insulin-release test predominant insulin-sensitivity defect, insulin-secretion or both defects. We found that higher maternal age, family history diabetes, elevated level...

Both high-fat and high-carbohydrate diets have been considered in association with the impairment of baroreflex sensitivity. However, mechanisms are unclear. In present study, effects a complex diet (HFCD) on circuitry were investigated. A HFCD emulsion was formulated orally administered to rats for 30 d. Rats then anaesthetised sensitivity measured following intravenous injection phenylephrine (PE) sodium nitroprusside (SNP) at various doses. Morphological changes brainstem detected by...

A simple and rapid HPLC method that includes ultrafiltration to remove plasma tissue interference component was developed determine 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) concentration in mouse tissues (heart, liver, spleen, lung, kidney). Following ultrafiltration, standards, quality controls, samples were separated by reversed-phase on an ODS analytical column quantified using UV detection at 265 nm.
