싸리버섯 메탄올 추출물이 간독성 물질인 B<TEX>$({\alpha})$</TEX>P을 투여한 마우스에서 간 손상 억제 효과 및 cytochrome P-450 1A1 발현에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. B<TEX>$({\alpha})$</TEX>P 투여로 인한 혈청 ALT와 AST의 활성, 조직증의 lipid peroxide 함량, AD AH 활성이 유의적으로 증가하였으며 추출물의 투여시 이들 활성 함량이 감소하였다. 반면, 조직중의 GSH GST, r-glutamylcysteine synthetase의 활성은 B<TEX>$({\alpha})$</TEX>P만 군에 비해 추출물을 증가하였다. 또한 immuno blotting 결과로부터 투여에 의해 현저히 증가되었던 isozyme 단백질 감소됨을 확인하였다. 이와 같은 추출물은 B<TEX>$({\alpha})$</TEX>P에 의한 손상에 대한 보호 효과가 있는 것으로 사료된다.
