We have gathered optical photometry data from the literature on a large sample of Swift-era gamma-ray burst (GRB) afterglows including GRBs up to September 2009, for total 76 GRBs, and present an additional three pre-Swift not included in earlier sample. Furthermore, we publish 840 new points 42 GRB afterglows, sets 050319, 050408, 050802, 050820A, 050922C, 060418, 080413A 080810. analyzed light curves all derived spectral energy distributions with best quality, allowing us estimate host...

We present observations of the dark gamma-ray burst GRB 051008 provided by Swift/BAT, Swift/XRT, Konus-WIND, INTEGRAL/SPI-ACS in high-energy domain and Shajn, Swift/UVOT, Tautenburg, NOT, Gemini Keck I telescopes optical near-infrared bands. The was detected only gamma- X-rays neither a prompt nor radio afterglow down to deep limits. identified host galaxy burst, which is typical Lyman-break (LBG) with R-magnitude 24.06 ± 0.10 mag. A redshift |$z = 2.77_{-0.20}^{+0.15}$| measured...

The results of experimental and theoretical studies fiber-optic delay lines with different types intensity modulation the optical carrier are presented. It was considered using in either radiation sources constant intensity, modulated by microwave signal an external electro-optical modulator or laser diodes direct pump current. study characteristics oscillator signals, constructed both described.

The 10 m2 muon hodoscope made of drift tubes with length 3.7 m and diameter 52 mm is under development construction in NRC “Kurchatov institute” — IHEP. Totally 768 are grouped into 6 identical multilayers, each consisting two tube layers parallelly placed tubes. Tube orientation adjacent multilayers orthogonal, thus the has six X Y layers. Detailed mechanical structure, on-chamber electronic data acquisition systems described. Expected technical characteristics some test results presented.

Currently, work is continuing on the study of terahertz range. In wireless communications, this range interesting for transmitting large amounts data over long distances. The main problem using building communication systems low output power radiation sources. Therefore, it advisable to use antennas with a high gain in such systems. Such include built according Cassegrain scheme. This antenna design scheme allows you obtain narrow pattern at least 40 dB. Thus, interest consider frequency 118...

Abstract Energy distribution data for 60 stars of spectral type A0–G2 are presented in the range 3425–7525Å 50Å steps. The mean internal accuracy obtained energy is about 2% ultraviolet, 1% visual and 1.5–2% ⋋ < 7000Å. Comparison synthetic B – V indices calculated on basis observed demonstrates good agreement between spectrophotometry WBVR photometry. These may be used as secondary spectrophotometric standards.

ABSTRACT A method of choosing the aeration and agitation conditions for a fermentation process has been devised which is based on maintaining maximal rate oxygen consumption by culture. The operation antibiotic biosynthesis an schedule resulting from proposed saves energy. values variable agitation-aeration parameters are those regarded as optimal ones fermentations carried out under constant conditions. combinations not limited design or capacity fermenters it can therefore be used...
