This work reports on the application of a takovite−aluminosilicate nanocomposite, synthesized by coprecipitation procedure, as adsorbent for removal Cr(III) and Pb(II) from aqueous solutions. Experimental studies to determine maximum fixation capacities, adsorption isotherms, affinity order process were carried out. The sorption ions is fast, equilibrium reached within 20 min, while 180 min necessary be in case ions. kinetics cations has been studied terms pseudofirst-order...
Considering the promising previous results of ct-[RuCl(CO)(dppb)(bipy)]PF6 (where dppb = 1,4-bis(diphenylphosphino)butane and bipy 2,2'-bipyridine) as an antitumor agent, novel biological assays evaluating its toxicogenic potential were performed. The genotoxicity compound was evaluated by in vitro micronucleus test (V79, Chinese hamster lung fibroblasts; HepG2, hepatocellular carcinoma cells), vivo bone marrow comet assay hepatocytes (Swiss mice). animals treated with 0.63, 1.25, 2.5 5.0...
