Background: Temperature-sensitive (thermo-sensitive) formulations are a novel drug delivery dosage form that shows bio-inspired behavior in various applications. The structure and properties of thermosensitive polymer critical designing an intelligent biometric contains lipopeptide biosurfactants. Objectives: In this study, thermo-sensitive hydrogels with biosurfactants as potential wound dressing were formulated examined regarding physicochemical properties. Methods: isolated from the...

At the present study tumor inhibition and antibacterial activity of essential oils of Heracleum persicum and Cinnamomum zeylanicum was investigated. Methanol petroleum ether were extracted from C. zeylanicum by potato disk method. These fractions showed cytotoxic effects in brine shrimp lethality assay (BSL). The authors found both H. persicum (57.16 %) and C. zeylanicum (72.90) had on Agrobacterium tumefaciens which induced crown gall on disk. also exhibited antitumor where IC50 was applied...

Abstract A series of 5‐nitroimidazole‐based 1,3,4‐thiadiazoles were prepared and tested for antibacterial activity against Helicobacter pylori . The anti‐ H. target compounds along with the commercially available antimicrobial metronidazole was evaluated by comparing inhibition‐zone diameters determined paper disc diffusion bioassay. From our bioassay results 20 clinical isolates it is evident that piperazinyl, 4‐methylpiperazinyl, 3‐methylpiperazinyl, 3,5‐dimethylpiperazinyl analogs ( 6a ,...

In the present work, bioassay screening of essential oil and various extracts two plants including fruits Heracleum persicum Desf. rhizomes Zingiber officinale Rosc. have been studied with brine shrimp test. There is only one report about cytotoxicity H. sphondylium in literature so has used as second selection. At first essentials petroleum ether, chloroform, methanol, ether aqueous were provided. Then, different concentrations them prepared. These fractions evaluated for toxicity using...

Introduction: Given the increasing rate of antibiotic resistance among bacterial strains, many researchers have been working to produce new and efficient inexpensive antibacterial agents. It has reported that some nanoparticles may be used as novel antimicrobial agents. Here, we evaluated properties nickel oxide (NiO) nanoparticles. Methods: NiO were synthesized using microwave method. In order control quality morphology nanoparticles, XRD (X-ray diffraction) SEM (scanning electronmicroscope)...

Helicobacter pylori infection is the main cause of gastritis and gastroduodenal ulcer disease, associated with gastric cancer. In order to develop new potential anti-Helicobacter candidates, we have investigated antimicrobial activity some 2-substituted-5-nitroheterocycles against H. pylori. The selected compounds along commercially available antibacterial metronidazole was evaluated by comparing inhibition zone diameters determined using paper disc diffusion bioassay. that exhibited strong...

Background: Biosurfactants are derived from microbes, plants, and animals. Acinetobacter junii B6 is a lipopeptide biosurfactant producer previously investigated for its structure, physicochemical, product aggregation properties. Objectives: In this study, we optimized the bioencapsulation of A. in calcium alginate hydrogel. Methods: was encapsulated using The formulation hydrogel full factorial approach. Sodium concentration, chloride hardening time were selected as main factors, surface...

Background Breast cancer is the most common type of female cancer. One class hormonal therapy for breast drugs -non steroidal aromatase inhibitors- are triazole analogues. In this work, some derivatives these was designed and synthesized. All synthesized compounds were evaluated their cytotoxic activities on cell lines (MDA-MB-231, T47D MCF-7). Methods Our synthetic route started from 4-bromotolunitrile which reacted with 1 H -1,2,4-triazole to afford 4-(4-cyanobenzyl)-1,2,4-triazole. The...

Background: Biotemplates are attractive templates for the synthesis of nanometals and inorganic compound nanostructures. Methods: In this work, first time, iron oxide quantum dot nanoparticles (QDNPs) were prepared using albumen as a biotemplate. Next, characterized dynamic light scattering determination evaluation hydrodynamic diameter zeta potential particles. Moreover, optical scanning electron microscopes applied to evaluate morphology. Spherically shaped QDNPs obtained with appropriate...
