ABSTRACT A simple and selective high‐performance liquid chromatography bioanalytical method was developed validated to determine the pharmacokinetic parameters of 5‐[1‐(4‐fluorophenyl)‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl]‐2H‐tetrazole (LQFM020) with promising vasorelaxant, anti‐inflammatory, antinociceptive properties while verifying its potential hepatic enzyme induction or inhibition. Chromatographic separation achieved using a reversed‐phase C18 column (ACE, 150 × 4.6 mm, 5 μm) isocratic elution solvent...
The oil from seeds of Dipteryx alata Vogel, Fabaceae, popularly known as baru, was extracted by hydraulic and continuous screw pressing. A total eleven chemical constituents obtained pressing, including steroids, mono sesquiterpenes tocopherol derivatives were identified gas chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (GC–MS). Compounds limonene, β-elemene, γ-elemene, α-caryophyllene, β-caryophyllene, campesterol, stigmasterol, β-sitosterol cycloartenol are being described for the first time in baru oil.
Diclofenac (DIC) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug of wide use around the world. Electroanalytical methods display high analytical potential for application in pharmaceutical samples but drawbacks concerning electrode fouling and reproducibility are major concern. Henceforth, aim this work was to propose alternative low-cost carbon black (CB) ionic liquid (IL) matrix modify surface pencil graphite electrodes (PGE) order quantify DIC raw materials, intermediates, final products, as...
Piroxicam (PRX) was determined in pharmaceutical capsules with differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) a three electrode system consisting of pencil graphite (PGE) as working electrode, Pt wire and reference Ag/AgCl/KCl 3 M. An irreversible oxidation peak observed Epa c.a. 0.6 V, which correlates to the PRX. The coefficient linear correlation obtained 0.9946, limit detection 2.1 µM quantification 4.7 µM. PGE assays showed good analytical performance compared high liquid chromatography...
The objective of the present study was to evaluate different methodologies for peptide quantification in supernatant chitosan nanoparticles by removing unliked polymer suspension. ionic gelation method used prepare encapsulating a 5.3 kDa peptide. Three processment solutions were compared before subjecting samples Bradford protocol or Qubit® kit protein detection. For quantification, it necessary create standard curve using concentrations. suitable would be one which diluted empty (obtained...
Abstract The antioxidant properties of commercial hops and malted barley were evaluated by electroanalytical methods compared with spectrophotometric methods. Hop group showed better capacity total phenols content (TPC) values than malt group. highest electrochemical Index (EI) was observed for HCO hop sample. Electrochemical a good Pearson correlation ABTS (2,2′‐azino‐bis (3‐ethylbenzothiazoline‐6‐sulphonic acid)), DPPH (2,2‐diphenyl‐1‐picrylhydrazyl), TPC, being 0.85, 0.77 0.86...
In this work, we developed an enzymatic voltammetric biosensor for the determination of catechin and gallic acid in green tea kombucha samples. The differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) methodology was optimized regarding amount crude enzyme extract, incubation time presence substrates, optimal pH, reuse biosensor, storage time. Samples were purchased local markets city Goiânia-GO, Brazil. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) Folin-Ciocalteu spectrophotometric techniques performed...
The increasing use of UV filters, such as benzophenone-3 (BP-3) and titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2 NPs), has raised concerns regarding their ecotoxicological effects on the aquatic environment. aim present study was to examine embryo-larval toxicity attributed BP-3 or TiO2 NPs, either alone in a mixture, utilizing zebrafish (Danio rerio) model after exposure environmentally relevant concentrations these compounds. Zebrafish embryos were exposed (10, 100, 1000 ng/L) NPs (1000 mixture...
Abstract The literature reveals gaps in the availability of green analytical methods for assessing products containing gatifloxacin (GFX), a fluoroquinolone. Presently, method development is supported by tools such as National Environmental Methods Index (NEMI) and Eco‐Scale Assessment (ESA), which offer objective insights into environmental friendliness procedures. this work was to develop validate NEMI ESA quantify GFX eye drops using HPLC. utilized C 8 column (4.6 × 150 mm, 5 μm), with...
The coumarins are an important class of phytochemicals with wide range biological activities. 7-hydroxy-6-methoxycoumarin, scopoletin is a biomarker widespread in plant kingdom, especially the phytotherapic and nutraceutical ones. A considerable number patents scientific papers concerning its amazing pharmacological properties highlights relevance scopoletin. How your benzo-α-pyrone skeleton, resembling flavonoid antioxidants, electrochemical characterization can be useful tool to understand...
Siparuna guianensis Aubl., known as “negramina”, “capitu”, is a small tree used for headaches, colds, fevers, healing agent, insect, and tick repellents. This study aimed to evaluate the chemical composition seasonal variability of essential oils from leaves S. guianensis. Botanical material was collected in Monte do Carmo, Tocantins, Brazil. The powder submitted hydrodistillation Clevenger apparatus, identification compounds performed by GC-MS. In volatile oils, 21.32% 55.44%...
Busulfan is an alkylating agent used for conditioning patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation with a narrow therapeutic range and highly variable pharmacokinetics. High concentrations induce toxicity, especially hepatic veno-occlusive disease, also referred to as sinusoidal obstruction syndrome. This study aimed assess busulfan pharmacokinetic variability in pretransplant regimens using analytical method validated by high-performance liquid chromatography coupled diode...
Psidium guineense Swartz is a bush used in urinary tract diseases, diarrhea, and dysentery. The present study aims to perform the anatomical of leaves evaluation chemical composition volatile oils from fruits. botanical material was collected Hidrolândia, Goiás. Anatomical characterization phytochemical screening were performed by conventional methods. Leaf fruit (green fruits, immature ripe fruits) powders submitted hydrodistillation Clevenger apparatus identification components obtained...
