It is well documented that the juvenile hormone (JH) can function as a gonadotropic stimulates vitellogenesis by activating production and uptake of vitellogenin in insects. Here, we describe phenotype associated with mutations
Pulmonary artery hypertension (PAH) is a disease with high morbidity and mortality. Cyanidin‑3‑O‑β‑glucoside (Cy‑3‑g), classical anthocyanin, has variety of biological effects. The present study evaluated whether Cy‑3‑g attenuated PAH, explored the potential mechanism action. Rats were injected monocrotaline (MCT; 60 mg per kg body weight) then treated (200 or 400 for 4 weeks. Protein expression was determined in vitro in transforming growth factor‑β1 (TGF‑β1)‑mediated human...
Asarum essential oil (AEO) has been shown to have good pharmacological activities for the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, but increasing dose may cause toxicity. Therefore, we studied toxic pharmacodynamic components of AEO by molecular distillation (MD). Anti-inflammatory activity was assessed using RAW264.7 cells. Neurotoxicity in PC12 cells overall toxicity evaluated mouse acute assay. The results showed that is primarily composed safrole, methyl eugenol, 3,5-dimethoxytoluene....
Abstract Background Juvenile hormones (JH) play crucial role in regulating development and reproduction insects. The most common form of JH is III, derived from MF through epoxidation by CYP15 enzymes. However, the higher dipterans, such as fruitfly, Drosophila melanogaster , a bis-epoxide JHB3, accounted detected. Moreover, these dipterans have lost gene their genomes. As result, identity P450 epoxidase biosynthesis pathway remains unknown. Results In this study, we show that Cyp6g2 serves...
