A 35-year-old man who returned from Germany developed fever, generalized pain, severe anal and skin rash, confirmed to be monkeypox (mpox). While he was previously human immunodeficiency virus infected, antiretroviral therapy ensured his immunocompetence. Abstract Natural Monkeypox virus infection induced significantly higher neutralizing antibody titers than Jynneos vaccination, with similar decay rates beyond 6 months. recipients prior smallpox vaccination showed levels comparable to mpox convalescents.
