Living tissue uses stress-accumulated electrical charge to close wounds. Self-repairing synthetic materials, which are typically soft and amorphous, usually require external stimuli, prolonged physical contact, long healing times. We overcome many of these limitations in piezoelectric bipyrazole organic crystals, recombine following mechanical fracture without any direction, autonomously self-healing milliseconds with crystallographic precision. Kelvin probe force microscopy, birefringence...

Although many examples of mechanically flexible crystals are currently known, their utility in all-flexible devices is not yet adequately demonstrated, despite immense potential for fabricating high performance devices. Here, we report two alkylated diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) semiconducting single crystals, one which displays impressive elastic mechanical flexibility whilst the other brittle. Using crystal structures and density functional theory (DFT) calculations, show that methylated...

In this paper we present an analysis of our $^{32}\mathrm{induced}$ interaction data at 200A GeV in terms factorial correlators. The correlated moments are found to increase with decreasing bin-bin separation, D. This follows a power law within the region D\ensuremath{\le}1. Bin-size independence correlators is observed for values D=0.4 and D=0.8. Our consistent dimension-independent scaling relation proposed by Seixas, which gives way out ``intermittent''-``nonintermittent'' ambiguity.
