In dairy herds, mastitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) is difficult to completely cure on the account that S. can invade bovine mammary epithelial cells (BMECs) and result in persistent infection gland. Recent studies have demonstrated autophagy participate cell homeostasis eliminating intracellular microorganisms. The aim of study was investigate why evade clearance survive BMECs. model first constructed, then bacteria autophagosome detected transmission electron microscopy....

This study aimed to clarify the effect of selenium (Se) on chromium (VI) [Cr(VI)]-induced damage in chicken liver. A total 105 chickens were randomly divided into seven groups 15. Group I received deionized water; group II Cr(VI) (7.83 mg/kg/d) alone; and other orally both Se different doses (0.14, 0.29, 0.57, 1.14, 2.28 mg/kg/d). The levels superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione (GSH), malondialdehyde (MDA), Ca2+ -ATPase, mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) measured. Results showed that...

Selenium (Se) is a trace mineral element in soils that can be beneficial to plants small amounts. Although maize among the most economically important crops, there are few reports on effects of Se seedling growth at molecular level. In this study, seedlings treated with different concentrations Na2SeO3 was investigated, and physiological characteristics were measured. Compared control, low concentration promoted growth, whereas high inhibited it. To illustrate transcriptional samples from...

Introduction Hexavalent chromium or Cr(VI) is essential to various industries, such as leather manufacturing and stainless steel production. Given that inevitable leakage from industries pollutes the soil thereby affects environment. Microbial communities could improve quality of soil. Abundant bacterial would significantly enhance richness resist external pressure, benefiting agriculture. But pollution heavy metal broke balance decrease abundance communities, which weak self-adjust ability...

Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), as novel antitumor drugs, have been widely used in the clinic and shown good effects. However, their widespread use has also led to emergence of various immune-related adverse events (IrAEs). Hypophysitis is a rare but serious IrAE. Due its complex changeable clinical manifestations, hypophysitis may be easily overlooked, leading delayed diagnosis treatment.
