Cervical cancer is projected to increase by 48% in Kuwait 2035. Detecting cervical early can prevent its progression. Given the paucity of prior research Kuwait, we aimed investigate screening (CCS) prevalence using a representative sample and assess disparities CCS uptake among Kuwaiti women. We obtained (n=3915) through WHO's STEPwise approach noncommunicable disease risk factor surveillance (STEPS). Demographic, socioeconomic, health data were analyzed for women aged 18-69 (n=2292) with...

Chromosomal and fluorescence situ hybridization studies were made on bone marrow aspirates at diagnosis during different stages disease.Recurring aberrations, observed 123 (75%) patients, included hyperdiploidy (n=68, 41%), tetraploidy (n=12, 7.3%), hypodiploidy (n=2, 1.2%),...

The complication of 'retinoic acid syndrome' occurs in 25-30% patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) treated all-transretinoic (ATRA). Early dexamethasone therapy has reduced mortality from this complication. No long-term sequel the syndrome or its treatment been described. We report a patient APL ATRA who developed avascular necrosis both femoral heads following retinoic short-duration, high-dose dexamethasone.

Both continue to be in first CR for 7 12 months, respectively. The third patient partial response while the fourth died multiorgan failure secondary retinoic syndrome.
