Insulin-like growth factor-I receptor (IGF-IR) and its ligands, IGF-I IGF-II, are up-regulated in a variety of human cancers. In tumors, such as colorectal, non-small cell lung, ovarian, pediatric cancers, which may drive their own survival through autocrine IGF-II expression, the role IGF-IR is especially critical. Here, we present novel small-molecule kinase inhibitor, cis-3-[3-(4-methyl-piperazin-l-yl)-cyclobutyl]-1-(2-phenyl-quinolin-7-yl)-imidazo[1,5-a]pyrazin-8-ylamine (PQIP),...

Acute kidney injury (AKI) is one of the common complications sepsis. Heretofore, there no effective treatment for septic AKI. Recent studies have revealed that besides treating hematological malignancies, human umbilical cord blood mononuclear cells (hUCBMNCs) show good therapeutic effects on other diseases. But whether hUCBMNCs can protect against AKI and its underlying mechanism are unknown. The rat model lipopolysaccharide- (LPS-) induced was developed, injection executed to prevent treat...

Abstract Acute kidney disease (AKD) is a state between acute injury (AKI) and chronic (CKD), but the prognosis of AKD unclear there are no risk-prediction tools to identify high-risk patients. 2,556 AKI patients were selected from 277,898 inpatients three affiliated hospitals Central South University January 2015 December 2015. The primary point was whether developed AKD. endpoint death or end stage renal (ESRD) 90 days after diagnosis. Multivariable Cox regression used for 90-day mortality...

Abstract Background Clustering is a widely used technique for analysis of gene expression data. Most clustering methods group genes based on the distances, while few according to similarities distributions levels. Furthermore, as biological annotation resources accumulated, an increasing number have been annotated into functional categories. As result, evaluating performance in terms consistency resulting clusters great interest. Results In this paper, we proposed WDCM (Weibull...

In this paper, we consider a two-dimensional (2D) time-fractional inverse diffusion problem which is severely ill-posed; i.e., the solution (if it exists) does not depend continuously on data. A modified kernel method presented for approximating of problem, and convergence estimates are obtained based both priori choice posteriori regularization parameters. The numerical examples illustrate behavior proposed method.
