Affect recognition is an important component towards the better interaction between human and machines. Applications of emotion in speech can be found several areas such as computer call centres. In recent years, Deep Neural Networks (DNN) have been used with great success recognizing emotions. this paper, we present a new model for continuous from speech. Our model, which was trained end-to-end, comprised Convolutional Network (CNN), extracts features raw signal, stacked on top it 2-layer...

Abstract International initiatives set ambitious targets for ecological restoration, which is considered a promising greenhouse gas mitigation strategy. Here, we conduct meta-analysis to quantify the impacts of restoration on emissions using dataset compiled from 253 articles. Our findings reveal that forest and grassland increase CH 4 uptake by 90.0% 30.8%, respectively, mainly due changes in soil properties. Conversely, wetland increases 544.4%, primarily attributable elevated water table...

Abstract Rapid global vegetation greening has been observed for the past two decades, but its implications to hydrological cycle are not well understood in many regions, including Yangtze River Basin (YRB). This study used a remote sensing‐driven ecosystem model, Coupled Carbon and Water fully examine individual combined effects of climate changes through series modeling experiments. During period (2001–2018), showed significant trend with mean annual normalized difference index increasing...

Abstract. Recent climate change and vegetation greening have important implications for global terrestrial hydrological cycles other ecosystem functions, raising concerns about the watershed water supply capacity large diversion projects. To address this emerging concern, we built a hybrid model based on Coupled Carbon Water (CCW) Supply Stress Index (WaSSI) models conducted case study upper Han River basin (UHRB) in Central China that serves as source area to middle route of South-to-North...

Although fine particulate matter with a diameter of <2.5 μm (PM2.5) has greater negative impact on human health than <10 (PM10), measurements PM2.5 have only recently been performed, and the spatial coverage these is limited. Comprehensively assessing pollution levels cumulative effects difficult because monitoring data for prior time periods certain regions are not available. In this paper, we propose promising approach robustly predicting concentrations. our approach, generalized...

Abstract International initiatives, such as the Bonn Challenge, Trillion Tree Campaign, New York Declaration on Forests, and United Nations Decade Ecosystem Restoration, have set ambitious targets for forest restoration. However, effectiveness cost‐efficiency of large‐scale restoration projects (FRP) in different climatic zones, trade‐off between carbon sequestration water consumption caused by FRP are poorly understood. Here, we conducted a comprehensive examination 2,778 counties China,...

There are a variety of models and algorithms that solves classification problems. Among these models, Maximum Gaussian Mixture Model (MGMM) is model we proposed earlier describes data using the maximum value Gaussians. Expectation Maximization (EM) algorithm can be used to solve this model. In paper, propose multiEM approach MGMM train based classifiers. This combines multiple MGMMs solved by EM into classifier. The classifiers trained with on both artificial real life datasets were tested...

Determining how to restore fish migration routes blocked by large dams is the subject of great debate. Fishways are effective engineering measures restoring routes. However, most fishways in China do not carry out their target functions. Additionally, no studies have investigated key fishway technologies plateaus Western China. In this research, relationship between behavior and hydrodynamics was assessed conducting quantitative descriptions flow speed, turbulence, other hydraulic...
