Abstract Background Bamboo charcoal has garnered wide recognition as an adsorbent owing to its stability and availability. Phosphoric acid modification contributes forming specific functional groups on the surface of bamboo charcoal, culminating in augmentation adsorption capabilities. Results The process this study involved impregnating a 45% mass fraction phosphoric solution with 1:10 ratio (bamboo powder acid), followed by activation at temperature 500 °C for duration 1.5 h. resulted...

In this study, Citrus aurantium essential oil encapsulated in casein-phospholipid nanocomposites (CAEO-CS-PL-NCs) was prepared and evaluated for controlled-release capacity of aroma compounds. The particle size the strongly influenced by phospholipid concentration nanocomposites. Avrami Korsmeyer-Peppas kinetic models were used to analyze release kinetics freeze-dried CAEO-CS-PL-NCs (FD-CAEO-CS-PL-NCs) at different temperatures relative humidities. FD-CAEO-CS-PL-NCs stored various times with...

Zanthoxylum bungeanum essential oil was extracted using a low-eutectic solvent (choline chloride and 1,3-butanediol) steam distillation. The results showed that the yield (9.36 10.00%) did not differ significantly between two methods. α-glucosidase inhibitory activity of oils from 20 species screened by PNPG (4-p-nitrophenyl-a-d-glucopyranosylase) colorimetric method, inhibition rate reached 57.1%, far more than those other tested. main components contents were terpineol-4-ol (13.13%),...
