Abstract In this study, we present an unprecedented reaction of BOPHY. Although tetrabrominated BOPHY ( BrBPH ) is known to give a substitution with amines, found that proceeds through addition mechanism in the dilute medium. Upon reaction, absorption and fluorescence bands decrease dramatically. We used newly presented for fluorimetric detection quantification amines. ‐adsorbed TLC plates were also utilized determination food spoilage.

The Friedel-Crafts reaction of homochiral pyrrole derivatives with α,β-unsaturated esters catalyzed by metal triflates furnished conjugate addition products. best yields were obtained using yttrium triflate and methyl 4-phenyl-2-oxobut-3-enoate (2a). worked regioselectively at C-5 pyrrole. diastereoisomers separated column chromatography.

Novel phosphonate compounds were synthesized via Michael addition of N-heteroaromatic to aryl- and alkyl­-substituted vinylphosphonates using scandium triflate as the catalyst. Intramolecular cyclization reaction adducts obtained gives novel (dimethoxyphosphoryl)pyrrolizin-3-ones in high yields a single diastereomer.

The preparation of copper ascorbate in CH2Cl2 is described. reaction between copper(II) methoxide and L-ascorbic acid the presence N,N,N′,N′-tetramethylethylenediamine (TMEDA) under strictly anaerobic conditions leads to formation a stable Cu(II)-ascorbate complex. Regioselective addition of pyrrole to methyl 3-aryl-2-cyanoacrylates was achieved, in high yields, with copper(II) triflate as the catalyst toluene.
