Objective The initial colonisation of the human microbiota and impact maternal health on neonatal at birth remain largely unknown. aim our study is to investigate possible dysbiosis associated with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) estimate potential risks microbial shift neonates. Design Pregnant women neonates suffering from GDM were enrolled 581 (oral, intestinal vaginal) 248 pharyngeal, meconium amniotic fluid) samples collected. To avoid vaginal bacteria contaminations, included...

Abstract Background The serine carboxypeptidase-like protein (SCPL) family plays a vital role in stress response, growth, development and pathogen defense. However, the identification functional analysis of SCPL gene members have not yet been performed wheat. Results In this study, we identified total 210 candidate genes encoding proteins According to their structural characteristics, it is possible divide these into three subfamilies: CPI, CPII CPIII. We uncovered 209 TaSCPL unevenly...

Abstract Ramie ( Boehmeria nivea L. Gaud) suffers from long-term continuous cropping. Here, using Illumina high-throughput sequencing technology, we aimed to identify bacteria and fungi associated with cropping in ramie fields Yuanjiang, Xianning, Sichuan, Jiangxi. The rarefaction results showed that Jiangxi had significantly lower bacterial α-diversity than of the other areas. Firmicutes, Proteobacteria, Acidobacteria were dominant phyla, Ascomycota, Basidiomycota, Zygomycota fungal phyla....

Distributed training techniques have been widely deployed in large-scale deep neural networks (DNNs) on dense-GPU clusters. However, public cloud clusters, due to the moderate inter-connection bandwidth between instances, traditional state-of-the-art distributed systems cannot scale well models. In this paper, we propose a new computing and communication efficient top-k sparsification library for training. To further improve system scalability, optimize I/O by proposing simple yet...

AIMTo evaluate diagnostic yields of capsule endoscopy (CE) and/or single-balloon enteroscopy (SBE) in patients with suspected small bowel diseases. METHODSWe retrospectively analyzed 700 diseases from September 2010 to March 2016.CE, SBE, or SBE prior CE was performed 401, 353, and 47 patients, respectively.Data clinical records were collected for analysis.Indications, procedure times, yields, complications summarized evaluated.

The gut microbiota is important in metabolism and immune modulation, compositional disruption of the population closely associated with inflammation caused by ionizing radiation (IR). Guiqi Baizhu decoction (GQBZD) a medicinal compound used traditional Chinese medicine anti-inflammatory antioxidation effects, especially process radiotherapy. However, effect GQBZD on reducing damage to normal system radiotherapy remains unclear. Here, we show that reduces body weights, water intake, food...

Powdery mildew disease (PMD) is caused by the obligate biotrophic fungus Microsphaera diffusa Cooke & Peck ( M. ) and results in significant yield losses soybean Glycine max (L.) Merr.) crops. By identifying disease-resistant genes breeding accessions with enhanced resistance, we can effectively mitigate detrimental impact of PMD on soybeans. We analyzed resistance a diversity panel 315 two locations over 3 years, candidate associated were identified through genome-wide association...

The gastrointestinal microbiota plays an important role in the function of host intestine. However, little is currently known about effects irradiation on microorganisms colonizing mucosal surfaces tract. aim this study was to investigate X-ray compositions large intestinal Microbiotas rat. gut microbiotas control mice and receiving with different dose treatment were characterized by high-throughput sequencing bacterial 16S rDNA gene their metabolites detected gas chromatography-mass...

To assess the association of human leukocyte antigen DQ gene polymorphisms with unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion (URSA) among ethnic Han Chinese from Wenzhou region.Fifty couples URSA (URSA group) and 66 normal pregnancy history (control were recruited. The alleles HLA-DQA1 HLA-DQB1 analyzed by polymerase chain reaction specific sequence primers (PCR-SSP) in all subjects. frequency distribution HLA-DQ alleles, odds ratios (OR) between each group sharing calculated.The...
