Fluorine-18 fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) with positron emission tomography (PET) is the standard for detecting myocardial inflammation in cardiac sarcoidosis, requiring preparation ketogenic diet (KD) to achieve glucose suppression. Despite this, incomplete suppression remains a significant issue, and strategies reduce uptake (MGU) identify are required. This study sought understand relationship between point-of-care beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) different patterns of MGU KD fasting duration...

Deterioration of right ventricular (RV) function in repaired tetralogy Fallot (rToF) is poorly understood. Cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) used for monitoring, but its analysis user-dependent and time-consuming. We sought to automate the CMR using machine learning, identify imaging traits associated with adverse RV remodeling natural history rToF. A longitudinal cohort rToF patients underwent at Children's Hospital Philadelphia. The nnU-Net method was train a learning model segment...

Most primary cutaneous melanomas have pathogenesis driven by ultraviolet exposure and genetic mutations, whereas acral lentiginous melanoma (ALM) metastatic are much less, if at all, linked with the former. Thus, we evaluated both related non-ultraviolet melanomas. Mutations in MUC16 TTN genes commonly occur concurrently these patients, but their combined prognostic significance stratified gender cancer subtype remains unclear.

Abstract Ventricular contouring of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging is the gold standard for volumetric analysis repaired tetralogy Fallot (rTOF), but can be time-consuming and subject to variability. A convolutional neural network (CNN) ventricular algorithm was developed generate contours mostly structural normal hearts. We aimed improve this use in rTOF propose a more comprehensive method evaluating performance. evaluated performance CNN, that trained on structurally hearts, patients....

The ketogenic diet (KD) is standard-of-care to achieve myocardial glucose suppression (MGS) for assessing inflammation using fluorine-18 fluorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography (FDG-PET). As KD protocols remain highly variable between centres (including estimation of nutrient intake by dietary logs adequacy preparation), we aimed assess the predictive utility in achieving MGS.Nineteen healthy participants underwent short-term KD, with FDG-PET performed after 1 and 3 days (goal...

Abstract The objective of this study is to define CT imaging derived phenotypes for patients with hepatic steatosis, a common metabolic liver condition, and determine its association patient data from medical biobank. There need further characterize steatosis in lean patients, as epidemiology may differ that overweight patients. A deep learning method determined the spleen-hepatic attenuation difference (SHAD) Hounsfield Units (HU) on abdominal scans quantitative measure steatosis. cohort...

The incidence and prevalence of melanoma are increasing globally, presenting a significant public health concern. main genetic drivers include BRAF, NRAS, KIT triple wild-type (TWT) mutations. Little is known about the effects these mutations on outcomes in terms demographics patient characteristics. We examined differences mortality risk mutation count across type disease profile. extrapolated primary data from 14 studies via cBioportal database. Patients were divided into demographic...
