Current study was aimed to formulate gastroretentive floating tablets of minocycline hydrochloride with desired properties, drug release rate, its local action in stomach for treatment H. pylori infection and prevention a side effect, pseudomembranous colitis. Simplex lattice mixture design used get experimental layout. Methocel K100LV (X1), K15M (X2) Carbopol 934 (X3) were selected as independent variables. Ten formulations (F1 F10) developed by direct compression evaluated physical...
Nanosponges, porous nanocarriers were explored for encapsulation of carboplatin by employing a quality design approach. Nanosponges prepared double emulsion solvent evaporation using the central composite design. Ethylcellulose, 450 mg, polyvinyl alcohol, 2.3% (w/v) and phase rate, 760 rpm yielded optimized spherical particles size 272.92 ± 12.31 nm, PDI 0.390, with zeta charge −22.3 mV. The entrapment efficiency carboplatin-loaded nanosponges was 56.27 2.52%. A sustained release 79.03%...
The present work was aimed to design a novel hydrogel carrier containing carboplatin-loaded nanosponges as mucosal application for treatment of cervical cancer. Ethylcellulose-based nanosponges, developed by double emulsion solvent evaporation were incorporated into bioadhesive gels (NF1-NF5) using Carbopol 940 and studied the standard in-vitro ex-vivo characteristics cytotoxicity potential. best hydrogel, demonstrated smooth uniform appearance, pH 6.9 ± 0.18, content 87.32 2.72%,...
