Abstract Traditional light‐driven metal‐organic‐frameworks (MOFs)‐based micromotors (MOFtors) are typically constrained to two‐dimensional (2D) motion under ultraviolet or near‐infrared light and often demonstrate instability susceptibility ions in high‐saline environments. This limitation is particularly relevant employing water purification, as real wastewater frequently coupled with high salinity. In response these challenges, ultrastable MOFtors capable of three‐dimensional (3D) a broad...

Flexible organic crystals represent a novel class of smart materials that open many opportunities for optical applications. While it has been established elastic or plastic deformation slender molecular can be commonly induced by external intervention, grow in bent curled shapes naturally are rarely reported. This study introduces an extraordinarily flexible crystalline fibrous material, (Z)-3-(2,3-dichloropyridin-4-yl)-2-(3,5-dimethylphenyl)acrylonitrile (DPA), crystallizes both as straight...

Flexible crystals with unique mechanical properties have presented enormous applications in optoelectronics, soft robotics and sensors. However, there been no reports of low‐temperature‐resistant flexible second‐order nonlinear optical (NLO). Here, we report the chiral Schiff‐base capable efficient second harmonic generation (SHG). Both enantiomers racemic modifications these are mechanically two directions at both room temperature ‐196 °C, although their responses differ. The display SHG an...

Abstract In this work, 44 metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) are screened for efficient electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction (eNRR). The isosteric heats of N 2 adsorption on the metal active centers MOFs calculated by grand canonical Monte Carlo method. It is found that p‐block‐elements exhibit highest affinity among all elements, implying their excellent catalytic potentials eNRR. Furthermore, Al element preferentially chosen as center (MIL‐53 (Al)) owing to its relatively low toxicity...

Emerging applications in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) routing impose new challenges on automatic length matching, including adaptability for any-direction traces with their original preserved interactiveness. The can be addressed through two orthogonal stages: assign non-overlapping regions to each trace and meander the within reach target length. In this paper, mainly focusing meandering stage, we propose an obstacle-aware detailed approach optimize utilization of available space achieve...

Ultrasound can non-invasively penetrate deep into brain for neuromodulation and has demonstrated good potential clinical application. Excitation or inhibition of neurons by ultrasound been reported, but the underlying mechanisms are largely unknown. So far most in vitro studies have focused on activation individual with calcium imaging.
