Abstract Optical clearing agents (OCAs) are substances that temporarily modify tissue's optical properties, enabling better imaging and light penetration. This study aimed to assess the impact of OCAs on nail bed blood using in vivo vitro methods. In part, were applied bed, coherence tomography digital capillaroscopy used evaluate their effects capillary flow, respectively. collected samples incubated with OCA aggregation properties estimated diffuse scattering techniques. The results...

The study is aimed to determine the digital capillaroscopy possibilities in early diagnostics of an arterial hypertension. A total 123 adult persons were examined study. first group consisted 40 patients with prehypertension (BP 130–139/85–89 mm Hg). second included 36 1-2 stage hypertension (mean systolic BP 152.7±12 Patients both groups did not receive regular drug therapy. volunteers (n=47) healthy adults without signs cardiovascular pathology. capillary circulation was on nailbed using...

Aim. To assess the potential of integral assessment cardiovascular system status in patients with arterial hypertension (AH), based on evaluation parameters microcirculation (non-invasive digital capillaroscopy) and macrocirculation (pulse wave velocity (PWV) endothelial function). Material methods. The study included 188 people aged 40 years older: 32 systolic blood pressure (BP) levels 120–139 mm Hg (“PreAH” group), 36 Stage 1–2 AH (“AH” 85 who achieved target BP due to antihypertensive...

Aim. To reveal the features of microcirculatory parameters in compensated and decompensated type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Subjects methods. A total 196 patients with T2DM were examined divided into groups: 1) 52 (40.4% men) aged 52.8±8.7 years (glycated hemoglobin (HbA1с), 6.3±0.5%); 2) 68 (38.2% 52.8±8.1 (HbA1с, 9.4±1.7%). Both patient groups had concomitant hypertension (its prevalence, degree, stage comparable). control group consisted 76 volunteers (40.8% 52.2±8.7 normal carbohydrate...

Development of computer technologies and image processing techniques provides rapid improvement imaging quality in digital capillaroscopy enabling much better observation identification tiny capillaries, measurement blood flow determination capillary parameters. The main idea the study was to determine applicability optical for diagnostics early stages arterial hypertension. Diameters venous segments, perivascular zone size, velocity, degree loops narrowing density network were estimated...

The dynamics of the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) in patients with ischemic disease shows a significantly different pattern days raised geomagnetic activity as compared to quiet days. This is revealed by greater intensity ESR variations during storms when there was little or no sun (quiet sun). Such behavior red blood cells reflects patient's individual sensitivity field fluctuations. article discusses possible mechanism variations.

ABSTRACT In this study, the parameters of blood microcirculation and microrheology were measured using methods laser aggregometry optical tweezers in vitro, as well method digital capillaroscopy vivo. It was shown that patients suffering from type 2 diabetes mellitus, an increase number RBC aggregates passing through narrow capillaries leads to a significant decrease velocity capillary flow, which can be explained by increased viscosity whole decreased deformability RBCs. Also, for group...
