Background: diabetes mellitus (DM) is characterized by an increased risk of developing chronic microvascular complications, including diabetic nephropathy (DN). Blood flow through the bed largely determined red blood cells (RBC) rheological properties. The association and prognostic significance impaired RBC properties in development complications type 1 (DM1) were object this study. Aim: to study patients with DM1 a decrease glomerular filtration rate (GFR) during DN progression. Materials...

ABSTRACT In this study, the parameters of blood microcirculation and microrheology were measured using methods laser aggregometry optical tweezers in vitro, as well method digital capillaroscopy vivo. It was shown that patients suffering from type 2 diabetes mellitus, an increase number RBC aggregates passing through narrow capillaries leads to a significant decrease velocity capillary flow, which can be explained by increased viscosity whole decreased deformability RBCs. Also, for group...

The hemorheologic disorders, which are potentially deleterious in a wide range of pathologies, were studied patients with type-1 and type-2 diabetes mellitus. significant determinants blood viscosity, red cells (RBC) deformability RBC reversible aggregation assessed by ektacytometry laser backscattering technique, respectively. For both types the disease, we observed acceleration first phase that contrasted its deceleration at second phase. hydrodynamic stability aggregates, especially...

Objective . Measurement and comparison of the aggregation disaggregation forces individual erythrocytes during formation or breakdown a paired aggregate in vitro blood patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) 2 (T2DM) using optical tweezers method. Materials methods. A total 50 people were included study. Of these, 10 T1DM (aged 28±15.8), 26 T2DM 66±13). The control group consisted 14 apparently healthy volunteers (46±21 years old). Measurements pair interaction diluted suspension...

The objective of the present review was to consider available data on risk development prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer in patients presenting with acromegalia. It is shown that incidence diseases acromegalic significantly higher than general population. Prostatic occurs all age groups acromegalia while its treatment reduces volume gland. reviewed publications do not report cases cancer.
