Total ionizing dose results are provided, showing the effects of different threshold adjust implant processes and irradiation bias conditions 14-nm FinFETs. Minimal radiation-induced voltage shift across a variety transistor types is observed. Off-state leakage current nMOSFET transistors exhibits strong gate dependence, indicating electrostatic control sub-fin region corresponding parasitic conduction path largest concern for radiation hardness in FinFET technology. The high-...

Construction of permanent metal-molecule-metal (MMM) junctions, though technically challenging, is desirable for both fundamental investigations and applications molecule-based electronics. In this study, we employed the nanotransfer printing (nTP) technique using perfluoropolyether (PFPE) stamps to print Au thin films onto self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) alkanedithiol formed on films. We show that resulting MMM junctions form symmetrical tunnel without need an additional protection layer...

Processes based on electrostatic projection are used extensively in industry, e.g., for mineral separations, electrophotography, or manufacturing of coated abrasives, such as sandpaper. Despite decades engineering practice, there still unanswered questions. In this paper, we present a comprehensive experimental study the process more than 1500 individual spherical alumina particles with nominal size $500\phantom{\rule{0.2em}{0ex}}\ensuremath{\mu}\mathrm{m}$, captured by high-speed video...

Abstract In this paper the dilute solution properties of a novel alternating anionic-zwitterionic copolymer are discussed. The copolymer, synthesized through spontaneous route, exhibited contrasting poly-ampholytic and polyelectrolytic behavior in aqueous salt solution. Intrinsic viscosity light-scattering studies as function simple electrolyte added presented to illustrate unique characteristics. An explanation effect on molecular dimensions polymer is offered.

Recent advances in semiconductor processing technology have enabled development of a solid-state neutron sensor with exceptional efficiency for its unique reduced size. The boron-10 ( n, alpha) capture reaction is used to detect incident thermal neutrons. This offers significant advantages small detector because the products high energies which can generate large number charge carriers materials by impact ionization. enabling and differentiating design stack consisting multiple bilayers...
