Recently there has been a growing interest in the laparoscopic management of common bile duct stones with gallbladder situ (LBDE), which is favoring expansion this technique. Our study identified standardization factors LBDE and its implementation single-stage choledocholithiasis.A retrospective multi-institutional among 17 centers proven experience was performed. A cross-sectional survey consisting semi-structured pretested questionnaire distributed covering main aspects on use total 3950...

Common bile duct (CBD) stones commonly occur in cholecystectomy cases. Management options include laparoscopic common exploration (LCBDE) or endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) followed by (LC). While ERCP is mature, it has complications, and LCBDE a proven alternative. This study evaluates the safety efficacy of these treatments elderly individuals aged 70 older. A retrospective from January 2015 to July 2022 included 160 patients (aged older) diagnosed with cholelithiasis...

AIM:To compare the clinical outcome of single-incision laparoscopic cholecystectomy (SILC) and three-incision (3ILC) for acute cholecystitis. METHODS:From July 2009 to September 2012, 136 patients underwent SILC or 3ILC cholecystitis at a tertiary referral hospital. One experienced surgeon performed every procedure using 5 10 mm 30-degree laparoscopes, straight instruments, conventional ports.Five with perforated gallbladder diffuse peritonitis 23 mild were excluded. The remaining 108 divided...

Abstract Background and Aim Gallstones stroke are common diseases worldwide. The relationship between gallstones has been documented in the literature. In this work, to characterize risk of among gallstone patients with without cholecystectomy, we investigated effects cholecystectomy a nationwide population‐based retrospective cohort study. Methods Data were obtained from Taiwan's National Health Insurance Research Database. study comprised 155 356 divided into two groups: those...

Advancements in surgical techniques and the optimization of immunosuppression have boosted organ transplant survival rates; however, liver recipients still risk complications such as hepatic vein occlusive disease (HVOD), also called sinusoidal obstruction syndrome. Rare but potentially fatal HVOD damages endothelial cells due to factors like chemotherapy, stem cell transplantation, certain medications azathioprine tacrolimus. Typically, presents with distinct clinical symptoms, including...

The authors present a test pattern generator, SLOPE, based on the stop line oriented path end algorithm, for combinational digital circuits. It combines advantages of FAN and FAST by utilizing controllability measure observability to assist guessing in generation process. With some strategies adopted it generates tests with fewer number backtrackings. Benchmark circuits run SLOPE show that outperforms PODEM most circuits.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"...

Background: Both mini-laparoscopic surgery and single-incision laparoscopic are feasible safe alternatives to conventional multi-incision surgery. Materials Methods: Fifty-one cholecystectomies (CSILCs) 34 mini-single-incision (MSILCs) were performed by a single surgeon for uncomplicated diseases. Compared with 2-cm paraumbilical incision in CSILC, the MSILC was 1.2 cm length. Results: In CSILC period, all procedures successfully except one (2.2%). 6 (15%) CSILCs (85%) MSILCs scheduled. All...
