Bone-marrow mononuclear cell (BM-MNC) implantation improves ischemic symptoms in patients with critical limb ischemia (CLI). The purpose of this study was to evaluate long-term clinical outcomes after autologous BM-MNC CLI.We assessed 51 CLI, including 25 peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and 26 Buerger disease. Forty-six CLI who had no served as control subjects. Median follow-up period 4.8 years. 4-year amputation-free rates were 48% PAD 95% disease, they 0% 6% overall survival 76% 100%...

Abstract Introduction The T2-FLAIR mismatch sign is a characteristic imaging biomarker for astrocytoma, isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH)-mutant. However, investigators have provided varying interpretations of the positivity/negativity this given individual cases nature qualitative visual assessment. Moreover, MR sequence parameters also influence appearance sign. To resolve these issues, we used synthetic technique to quantitatively evaluate and differentiate astrocytoma from...

Resonance fluorescence spectra of a driven Kerr nonlinear resonator is investigated both theoretically and experimentally. When the strongly such that induced Rabi frequency comparable to or larger than nonlinearity, system cannot be approximated as two-level system. We derive characteristic features in decrease center-peak intensity asymmetric sideband peaks presence finite dephasing. Those are consistently explained by population initial dressed state its transition matrix element final...

OBJECTIVE An MRI protocol for germinoma surveillance after complete remission has not been established. Moreover, the standard treatment recurrent or refractory determined. In this study, authors explored imaging characteristics of and discuss their institution’s experience with multidisciplinary malignancy. METHODS The medical records 16 patients (14 male, 2 female) 62 (52 10 without recurrence who were treated at authors’ institution between 1989 2023 retrospectively examined. Data...

The aim was to evaluate the possibility of radiographic prediction prognosis simple bone cysts (SBCs) jaws. The relationship between findings and treatment outcome (healing or recurrence) investigated in 31 cases treated authors' hospital 108 published cases. In 17 our cases, lesions had a preserved lamina dura adjacent lesion, with smooth margin, no expansion, all them healed after surgery. In other 14 there resorption dura, scalloped nodular root resorption, sclerotic mass multiple cavities,...

Objectives. To find diagnostic points and to identify the origin of osteomyelitis in synovitis, acne, pustulosis, hyperostosis osteitis (SAPHO) syndrome. Methods. Fifty-two patients with mandibular suppurative 25 SAPHO syndrome were included study. Radiographic patterns lesion, types periosteal reaction presence external bone resorption enlargement investigated each case compared between two entities. Results. Suppurative demonstrated an osteolytic pattern a lamellated type reaction, whereas...

To understand the differences and similarities between immunocompetent immunodeficient mice as ectopic transplantation animal models for bone tissue engineering.Osteogenic cells from mouse leg bones were cultured, seeded on β-TCP granules, transplanted onto backs of either or nude mice. At 1, 2, 4, 8 weeks postoperatively, samples harvested evaluated by hematoxylin-eosin staining, tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP) immunohistochemical staining quantitative PCR.In mice, inflammatory...

Rathke's cleft cysts (RCCs) are relatively common and often detected incidentally. They usually asymptomatic managed conservatively. However, little is known about their natural history. Thus, the authors aimed to examine course of RCCs identify risk factors for progression. This retrospective study examined 229 patients (median age 43.0 years) diagnosed with by MRI followed up without surgery period 36.6 months). The median cyst height on initial was 10 mm. Progression or regression RCC...

Abstract BACKGROUND Tirabrutinib is a second-generation, highly selective oral Bruton’s tyrosine kinase inhibitor and approved for the treatment of recurrent/refractory primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) in Japan. We reviewed our single institution experiments tirabrutinib. MATERIALS AND METHODS Our institutional review board this retrospective study. Twenty-eight patients with recurrent or refractory PCNSL treated tirabrutinib at between 2020 2024 were included. Information...

Purpose: The T2-fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) mismatch sign was previously reported as a diagnostic indicator of diffuse astrocytoma, isocitrate dehydrogenase-mutant, and 1p/19q noncodeletion. Subsequently, it that the same findings were observed in intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG). We investigated clinical significance T2-FLAIR DIPG. Methods: Twenty-one patients with DIPG (Male: Female = 12:9) treated at our institute between 2004 2019. All local radiotherapy 54 Gy/30...
