In this work, the effect of a complex additives based on Na2Si2O5 and Mn2+ properties sintering temperature ZrO2 ceramic material stabilized with 3 mol. % Y2O3 — 2.5 wt. Al2O3 (Z–A) was studied. It has been found that introduction increases strength in three-point bending microhardness materials. The highest (704 ± 45 MPa) (9.2 0.5 GPa) are achieved Z–A containing 1 0.25 sintered at 1300 °C.

Al-substituted hydroxyapatite (Al-HA) powders with apatite structure and particle size of 30–70 nm were obtained via precipitation method. The effect Al content on specific surface area morphology was studied, a formation highly anisotropic phase due to doping observed. influence heat treatment in 300–1400 °C range the composition, lattice parameters, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) spectra mass loss investigated. Introduction (HA) 0.5–1.0 mol.% resulted improvement thermal...

Hydroxyapatite (HA) remains one of the most popular materials for various biomedical applications and its fields application have been expanding. Lithium (Li+) is a promising candidate modifying biological behavior HA. Li+ present in trace amounts human body as an alkaline bioelectric material. At same time, introduction into HA structure required charge balance compensation due to difference oxidation degree, scheme this still open question. In work, results theoretical experimental study...

Calcium sulfate powder materials containing terbium ions at 0, 1.0, or 2.0 mol.% were obtained. They are characterized by the presence of a CaSO4×0.5H2O phase, while Tb3+ is incorporated into lattice ≤1.0 mol.%. Specific surface area enlarged from 2.1 to 22.5 m2/g as crystallite size decreased 68 31 nm. Thermal analysis showed that slightly raises temperature CaSO4×2H2O-to-CaSO4 transition. Studies solubility in SBF solution calcium phosphate layer terbium-containing cements on 7th day....

Nanocrystalline 3 mol% yttria-tetragonal zirconia polycrystal (3Y-TZP) ceramic powder containing 5 wt.% Al2O3 with 64 m2/g specific area was synthesized through precipitation method. Different amounts of Co (0–3 mol%) were introduced into powders, and materials obtained by heat treatment in the air for 2 h at 1350–1550 °C. The influence addition on sintering temperature, phase composition, microstructure, mechanical biomedical properties composite materials, resolution digital light...
