Abstract Three novel esters of undecylenic acid (UA) were synthesized using the following polyols: linear diglycerol (DG), pentaerythritol monomethylether (PEME), and trimethyloltoluene (TMT). They characterized through density, viscosity, thermo‐oxidative stability, melting point (m.p.), miscibility with mineral oils, toxicity to evaluate their potential as ecofriendly lubricants. Trimethylolpropane (TMP) triundecylenate was also a reference ester. Esters’ densities in range 0.93–0.97 g cm...

Abstract This work aimed the development and evaluation of wound healing activity films based on sodium alginate, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) Ca 2+ loaded with Agaricus blazei Murill hydroalcoholic extract (AbE). Firstly, AbE was prepared using a previously standardized methodology. The were by casting technique cross‐linked CaCl 2 as cross‐linking agent. physicochemical, morphological water vapor barrier properties analyzed pre‐clinical efficacy investigated against cutaneous model in mice....

Abstract Fish farming is a worldwide growing activity and large amount of residues produced in this process. The present work describes cleaner sustainable way to produce new lubricants from fish waste oil. Oil extracted the Nile tilapia ( Oreochromis niloticus ) viscera was utilized as raw material basic oil for lubricants. products were synthesized by esterification with polyols, trimethylolpropane (TMP) pentaerythritol (PE), using p‐toluenesulfonic acid (p‐TSA) catalyst. esters...

Spondias tuberosa (umbu) has been studied from the perspective of natural product and pharmacology, revealing relevant biological activities. Therefore, point view chemical studies, deepening knowledge about this species is great importance. Additionally, evaluation related to metabolic variations same during different phenological evolution stages also an interesting aspect research. Thereby, ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled mass spectrometry (UPLC-QToF-MSE) was used trace...
