Adulterating pork into other meat is a global concern, and efficient methods for identifying species are of prime importance in quality assurance regulation. Enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) one the most widely used methodologies porcine speciation. Thermostable proteins were as suitable marker identification heat‐processed or commercial products. However, continuous pursuit higher sensitivity narrowed analytical range quantitation (ROQ) resulting reduced resolution. In our study,...

Fipronil (FIP), a broad-spectrum phenylpyrazole insecticide, is highly toxic and threatens human health ecological balance. Developing convenient, rapid, portable analytical technology for on-site high-frequency testing of FIP essential to reduce its damage. Herein, monoclonal antibody (Clone F-3F6) against FIP, with high affinity specificity, was produced using novel immunogen, FIP-BSA, which simply directly synthesized by conjugating bovine serum albumin (BSA). Among the previously...

Response Surface Methodology (RSM) was applied to predict optimum conditions for extraction of flavonoids from shaddock peel. A central composite design involving extracting temperature, time and ethanol concentration used second-order model ratio flavonoid employed generate the response surface. The optimized condition as follows: temperature 70°C, 127.2 min 92.16%. predicted at 81.4216%. Experimental verification gave value 80.35%.
