Hyperspectral imaging (HSI) is widely applied in various industries, enabling detailed analysis of material properties or composition through their spectral signatures. However, for classification construction and demolition waste (CDW) materials, HSI impractical since real-time sorting requires rapid data acquisition lightweight classification. Instead, fitting selected narrowband filters onto standard cameras can achieve comparable results with substantially reduced computational overhead....

The quasar 3C 279 was the target of an extensive multiwavelength monitoring campaign from 2006 January through April. An optical-IR-radio by Whole Earth Blazar Telescope (WEBT) collaboration organized around target-of-opportunity X-ray and soft γ-ray observations with Chandra INTEGRAL in mid-January, additional coverage RXTE Swift XRT. In this paper we focus on results WEBT campaign. source exhibited substantial variability optical flux spectral shape, a characteristic timescale few days....

The importance of detection parking space availability is still growing, particularly in major cities. This paper deals with the design a distributed wireless camera system for management spaces, which can determine occupancy based on information from multiple cameras. proposed uses small modules Raspberry Pi Zero and computationally efficient algorithm histogram oriented gradients (HOG) feature descriptor support vector machine (SVM) classifier. We have included about orientation vehicle as...

In this Letter, we develop a novel technique, to the best of our knowledge, increase link span ($ {L_s} $Ls) rolling shutter (RS)-based optical camera communications (OCC) system by reducing spatial bandwidth in out-of-focus regions. We demonstrate 400 m line-of-sight RS-based OCC link, which is date longest $ $Ls reported these systems, and detection method extract information out video frames, successfully. In optical camera communications (OCC), the provision of both flicker-free illumination and high data rates are challenging issues, which can be addressed by utilizing rolling-shutter (RS) property image sensors as receiver (Rx). this paper, we propose an RS-based multiple-input multiple-output OCC scheme for Internet things (IoT) application. A simplified design multi-channel transmitter (Tx) using a 7.2 × cm2 small 8 distributed light emitting diode (LED) array, based on grouping LEDs, is...

We present multiwavelength (optical/near infrared/millimetre) observations of a short duration gamma-ray burst detected by Swift (GRB 050509b) collected between 0 seconds and ∼18.8 days after the event. No optical, near infrared or millimetre emission has been in spite well localised X-ray afterglow, confirming elusiveness events. We also discuss possibility being located cluster galaxies at z = 0.225 beyond. In former case, spectral energy distribution neighbouring, potential host galaxy,...

The existence of asteroidal meteoroid streams capable producing meteorite-dropping bolides has long being invoked, but evidence is scarce. Recent modelling previously reported associations suggests that the time-scales to keep orbital coherence these meteorites are too short. We present an unequivocal association between near earth object (NEO) 2002NY40 and at least one bright fireball detected over Finland in 2006 August. Another two additional fireballs recorded from Spain seem be related,...
