Abstract Combined straw and straw-derived biochar input is commonly applied by farmland management in low-fertility soils. Although return increases soil organic matter (SOM) contents, it also primes SOM mineralization. The mechanisms which active microorganisms mineralize the underlying factors remain unclear for such To address these issues, paddy was amended with 13 C-labeled straw, without (BC) or ferrihydrite (Fh), incubated 70 days under flooded conditions. Compound-specific C analysis...

A new, efficient Cu-catalyzed intramolecular C-H oxidation/acylation method has been developed for the synthesis of substituted indoline-2,3-diones (isatins). In presence CuCl(2) and O(2), a variety formyl-N-arylformamides underwent tandem reaction to afford corresponding in moderate good yields. It is noteworthy that serves as first example transition-metal-catalyzed transformation preparation indoline-2,3-diones.

Due to the harsh reaction conditions, high energy consumption, and numerous carbon emissions of traditional Haber-Bosch method, fixation nitrogen under environmentally friendly milder conditions is great importance. Recently, photoelectrochemical (PEC) strategies have attracted extensive attention, where catalysts with advantages cost-effectiveness improved efficiency are critical for reduction (NRR). Herein, we synthesized vacancies that contained g-C3N5 (NV-g-C3N5) combined BiOBr construct...

In this work, near-infrared fluorescent silver nanoclusters (Ag NCs) were prepared based on the in situ formed poly methacrylic acid (PMAA) as template and stabilizer, which is synthesized by (MAA) hydroxyl radical (·OH) that generated cascade nanoenzyme reaction of cupric oxide nanoparticles (CuO NPs). CuO NPs possess intrinsic glutathione-like (GPx-like) peroxidase-like (POD-like) activities, can catalyze glutathione (GSH) O2 to produce hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), then transform into ·OH....

The excessive formation of peroxynitrite (ONOO-) in mitochondria has been implicated various pathophysiological processes and diseases. However, owing to short emission wavelengths small Stokes shifts, previously reported fluorescent probes pose significant challenges for mitochondrial ONOO- imaging biological systems. In this study, a near-infrared (NIR) probe, denoted as DCO-POT, is designed the visual monitoring ONOO-, displaying remarkable shift 170 nm. NIR fluorophore DCO-CHO released...

The variations of the microenvironment in cells are always associated with changes concentrations some active species. However, visual detection these species is still a challenge. In this work, near-infrared (NIR)-emitting fluorescent Ag2S quantum dots (Ag2S QDs) were synthesized via rapid microwave reaction under normoxic conditions, which utilized as sensitive nanoprobes sensing and bioimaging glutathione (GSH) combined CoOOH nanosheets (CoOOH NSs). negatively charged QDs can easily...
