The generation of interband photon pairs with wavelengths near 0.5 and 1.6 μm in a photonic-crystal fiber under low-power cw optical pumping by diode laser central wavelength 0.8 has been experimentally demonstrated. It found that the rate entangled photons is comparable values obtained pulsed femtosecond Ti:sapphire if average pump power an order magnitude higher than power. reached rates are ensured used small effective mode area special dispersion profile. low noise output signal...

In this work we tested two reagent kits developed by us for detecting SARS-CoV-2 RNA using a fragment of the ORF1ab gene in digital PCR and real-time formats. Data were obtained on detection virus nasopharyngeal swabs patients with COVID-19 asymptomatic carriers. The provided 100% sensitivity limit 103 GE / ml qPCR, at least 200 copies viral when performing PCR. These methods panel 1,328 samples collected from suspected beginning 2020 Russian Federation. It has been shown that dPCR is more...

SARS-CoV-2, which emerged in Wuhan (China), has become a great worldwide problem 2020 and led to more than 1,000,000 deaths worldwide. Many laboratories are searching for ways fight this pandemic. We studied the action of cellular antiviral protein tetherin, is encoded by BST2 gene. deleted transmembrane domain-encoding part gene Vero cell line. The domain target virus-antagonizing proteins. showed decrease SARS-CoV-2 cells with domains compared initial Similar results were obtained SARS-CoV...

In this Letter, we report a first experimental realization of bright ultra-broadband (180 THz) fiber-based biphoton source with widely spectrally separated signal and idler photons. Such two-photon is realized due to the joint use broadband phase-matching interacting light waves high optical nonlinearity silica-core photonic crystal fiber. The performance developed fiber identifies it as an important useful tool for wide range quantum applications.

Introduction. Gas-filled polymers are highly efficient building thermal insulation materials, and therefore, researching to develop technologies create them is a promising task. Phenol-formaldehyde foamed plastic can be high-potential material with many significant advantages. However, the high toxicity of phenol formaldehyde compounds it releases deterrent its usage. Therefore, purpose this study was search for ways reduce plastic. The research considered method using ferric chloride as...

Coronaviridae is a family of single-stranded RNA (ssRNA) viruses that can cause diseases with high mortality rates. SARS-CoV-1 and MERS-CoV appeared in 2002-2003 2012, respectively. A novel coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, emerged 2019 Wuhan (China) has caused more than 5 million deaths worldwide. The entry into the cell due to interaction viral spike (S) protein protein, angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2). After infection, virus assembly occurs Golgi apparatus-derived vesicles during...
