Abstract The new generation androgen receptor (AR) pathway inhibitor enzalutamide can prolong the survival of patients with metastatic prostate cancer. However, resistance to inevitably develops in these patients, and underlying mechanisms this are not fully defined. Here we demonstrate that kinesin family member 15 (KIF15) contributes by enhancing AR signaling cancer cells. KIF15 directly bound N-terminus AR/AR-V7 prevented proteins from degradation increasing protein association...
The effect of Na3(PO3)3 on the growth KDP crystal (101) faces was studied by Michelson interference technique and atomic force microscopy. experimental results show that rates were near zero at low supersaturation when doped into solution, i.e., there a interval similar to "growth dead zone". began increase rapidly as crossed zone" continued increase. increased doping concentration increased. In addition, anisotropy hillocks decreased competition became more intense gradually in solution...
Endometrial cancer (EC) is a growing global health concern. Understanding the molecular mechanisms driving EC crucial for developing effective diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. This study investigates roles of DLL3 miR-508-5p in progression explores approach using engineered exosomes to modulate their expression. TCGA data were analyzed, vitro vivo experiments performed assess function, bioinformatics was used confirm interaction. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) produce...
Abstract Background Endocrine resistance driven by sustained activation of androgen receptor (AR) signaling pathway in advanced prostate cancer (PCa) is fatal. Characterization mechanisms underlying aberrant AR to search for potential therapeutic strategy particularly important. Rac GTPase-activating protein 1 (RACGAP1) one the specific proteins. As a novel tumor proto-oncogene, overexpression RACGAP1 was related occurrence various tumors. Methods Bioinformatics methods were used analyze...
In order to improve the heat transfer and corrosion resistance of coatings, graphene/polyvinyl butyral/epoxy resin (GR/PVB/EP) graphene oxide /polyvinyl (GO/PVB/EP) coatings with different contents (GR) (GO) were successfully prepared. this paper, we mainly explore influence GR go doping content on coating, as two kinds large layer structure composite coating. The OCP curve shows that for coating same mass fraction, it is more difficult electrolyte ions reach metal substrate surface...
Risk stratification using molecular features could potentially help distinguish indolent from aggressive prostate cancer (PCa). Mutations in isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) acquire an abnormal enzymatic activity, resulting the production of 2-hydroxyglutarate and alterations cellular metabolism, histone modification, DNA methylation. Mutant IDH1 has been identified various human malignancies, IDH1R132H constituted vast majority mutational events IDH1. Most recent studies suggested that...
Sorting kernels are a fundamental part of numerous applications. The performance sorting implementations is usually limited by variety factors such as computing power, memory bandwidth, and branch mispredictions. In this paper we propose an efficient hybrid method which takes advantage wide vector registers the high bandwidth modern AVX-512-based multi-core many-core processors. Our approach employs combination vectorized bitonic load-balanced multi-threaded merging. Thread-level data-level...
The phenomenon of the cracking KDP z-cut seed crystals with a series sizes due to temperature difference growth solution was explored in detail.
In situ interference and AFM were used to study the effect of supersaturation temperature on growth rates slopes KDP crystal (101) faces.
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate crystals were grown around 65 °C. The growth rate of KDP (KH2PO4) crystal prismatic faces was measured by laser polarization interference system. surface micro morphology at various supersaturation comparatively observed atomic force microscope systematically. results show that the increased with rise supersaturation, aspect ratio reduced. steps bunching height occurred σ = 0.03 and 0.04. At this point, reached maximum value about 11.3~24.4 nm. step almost...
The results of the temperature dependence fracture toughness KDP crystals with four orientations show that brittle-to-ductile transition occurs at 160 °C.
Abstract The surface micromorphology of the {101} faces potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KDP) crystals grown at different supersaturation conditions is systematically compared using atomic force microscopy. height and width during growth steps are measured. pyramidal face rate KDP tested by a laser polarization interference system. X‐ray rocking curve used to measure structural perfection crystals. results show that increases with degree, faster than {100} low degree. Step bunching first then...
The dislocation related etch pits on pyramidal faces of KDP crystals were created by an improved wet etching method and investigated using optical microscope 3D confocal microscope.
Oocyte vitrification is widely used throughout the world, but its clinical efficacy inconsistent and depends on media. This study compared developmental potential results of in vivo matured oocytes cryopreserved with different media. This retrospective involved vitrified-warmed at one vitro fertilization laboratory. Vitrification media kits comprised MC kit (ethylene glycol [EG] plus 1,2-propanediol [PROH]), KT (EG dimethyl sulphoxide [DMSO]), Modified DMSO PROH kit). Rates oocyte survival...
The aim of the present work was to investigate correlation plasma platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF)-BB level and single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP, rs1800817 rs2285094) PDGF-B gene with onset stability condition coronary heart disease (CHD).Totally, 335 subjects were included in divided into CHD (n = 247) control group 88) according angiography. Besides, patients acute syndrome (ACS) 165) stable angina pectoria (SAP) 82), based on condition. PDGF-BB measured by ELISA, genotype examined...
Although targeting the androgen signaling pathway by receptor (AR) inhibitors, including enzalutamide, has shown therapeutic effectiveness, inevitable emergence of acquired resistance remains a critical challenge in treatment advanced prostate cancer (PCa). Recognizing targetable genomic aberrations that trigger endocrine failure holds great promise for advancing interventions. Here, we characterized PLXNA1, amplified subset PCa patients, as contributor to enzalutamide (ENZR). Elevated...
Deoxynivalenol (DON) can induce endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, mitochondrial ROS burst, and macrophage polarization. Here, we investigated the mechanism linking above three aspects with dose range relevant to low-level exposure in children. At 0.5 μg/kg bw/day, found remarkable liver gut inflammatory responses after 6-week mice age comparable humans 7-12 years old. Through antioxidant intervention, that played a driver role polarization induced by DON gut. Further bioinformatics analysis...
Source code identifiers often contain abbreviations. Such abbreviations may reduce the readability of source code, which in turn hinders maintenance software applications. To this end, accurate and automated approaches to expanding are desirable abbreviation expansion has been intensively investigated. However, best our knowledge, most existing heuristics, none them even employed deep learning techniques, let alone advanced large language models (LLMs). LLMs have demonstrated cutting-edge...
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KDP) crystals were grown from aqueous solutions with different concentrations of cyclohexane diamine tetraacetic acid (CDTA) by the “point seed” rapid growth technique.
Effect of organic matter and acid on the heavy metals, especially, chromium (Cr) release in sediment was researched. Glucose soluble starch used as matter, well, citric ethylene diamine tetraacetic (EDTA) were simulated acid. The results showed that best adsorption time glucose Cr 5h, optimal dosage 0.1g g -1 ; 4h, optimum adding amount 0.08g/g; concentration 0.005mol EDTA 3h, 0.12g . Glucose, significantly effected sediment, however, influence not so evident.
